#TheBatmanIsComing2022
According to The Batman Brasil a source on the film production team told them the following concerning Rob and Matt Reeves’ The Batman:
- Rob will return to the set on 2 January 2021 and will finish filming in late January/early February 2021, Colin Farrell on 7 February 2021 and Zoe Kravitz on 7 January 2021. Andy Serkis and Paul Dano have finished filming.
- the film is already in the process of reshoots, as it has already been recorded 100% of the film. He will return to record some scenes in June, only in case of urgency.
- if all goes according to plan, we will have a big surprise soon from Matt Reeves.
- Reeves really wanted to release this film in November. But Warner and Robert Pattinson didn’t like it, and preferred to leave it until 2022.
We hope this information is correct, would love to see the big surprise sooner rather than later. In any event, we can now say – The Batman is coming next year (always looking for the silver lining).
Thanks The Batman Brasil.

Building Gotham City and the Batcave for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman
According to Daily Mail:
The Batman crew were seen busily preparing a new sprawling set for the superhero flick in a studio lot on Tuesday, new aerial shots have revealed.
Transforming the outdoor space into a intricately detailed recreation of Gotham City, builders had already put up streets, burnt-out buildings, and even its very own Batcave for Robert Pattinson’s Caped Cursader to venture into.
Placed in a separate part of the film lot, the Batcave looked magnificent with its immense rock face which had been decorated with trees and shrubbery to exaggerate how vast the structure was.
A large pit had been built into the makeshift rock face with the floor painted a dark sleet grey to create a sense of foreboding when filming began on the completed set.
While the inside of the Batcave was not visible, a large hole had been built into the side of the set piece so that the crew could film Robert inside the lair from multiple angles.
You can check out more photos of other sections of the set at the source.
