Matt Reeves tweeted earlier today “Question Everything”. I said I certainly wouldn’t question his choice of Rob!

Also there’s a new website rataalada.com where you play a game with The Riddler and if you get the answer correct I believe you receive a new unpublished image from the film. It’s kind of fun! Thanks DCVerso for the heads up – this is some clever promo.

Playing that game was so much fun – here’s the reward I received

UPDATE: 21 December 2021

Empire shared this excerpt from their interview with Rob where he talks about his ‘map’ of where he’d go with the character over two more films” if they were to happen:

“But if nobody is talking about crossovers or specific sequel plans yet, Pattinson has had thoughts about where he’d take his version of Bruce Wayne if future instalments were to materialise. “I’ve made a kind of map for where Bruce’s psychology would grow over two more movies,” he says. “I would love to do it.”

Oh Rob we would love you to do that too.

More excerpts from Empire thanks to Slash Film. Rob talks about the Batmobile:

In the Batman issue, Pattinson confirms that the souped-up Batmobile was a labor of love. “Bruce built it himself,” says Pattinson,” so there’s this kind of tangibility to it.” With this description, the vehicle is a far cry from the militarized Tumbler that rolled its way through Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy. Squinting at the images released so far from the film, the car appears to be of the late 1960s — last year, Car and Driver offered the possibility that it could be a 1969 Dodge Charger, while Hot Cars suggests that the car, “oozes the Chevrolet Camaro’s style with its elongated front and the fascia.”

For Reeves, the car is more than a fun gimmick in the Bat’s playroom; it’s an extension of the man himself, adding to his intimidating aura. What might surprise viewers is how he leans into the vibe, using a horror icon as inspiration. The director tells Empire: “It has to make an appearance out of the shadows to intimidate, so I thought of it almost like Stephen King’s [possessed motor] Christine. I liked the idea of the car itself as a horror figure, making an animalistic appearance to really scare the hell out of the people Batman’s pursuing. There is absolutely a horror-genre aspect to this movie.”

Total Film talks Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” in their Christmas 2021 Issue:

Consider Batman, rebooted and suited under the tantalising watch of director Matt Reeves, whose breakout pics involved monsters (Cloverfield) and vampires (Let Me In). For Reeves’ Robert Pattinson-fronted The Batman, fear is emphatically a tool. “This movie, I think, is probably the scariest Batman that’s been done”, says Reeves, “because the idea o what Batman’s doing – it’s scary”. As for Paul Dano’s Riddler, he won’t just be good at barista skills, as the trailer shows. He’s “very scary” too, says Reeves, who drew on the Zodiac Killer for the puzzler’s homicidal hoopla.

Even with Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) and Penguin (Colin Farrell) recalling Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, Reeves reckons Batman has “never been done in quite this way”. “It’s a detective story, it’s an action movie and it’s a psychological thriller”, he says. A serial-killer investigation as a deep dive into Bruce Wayne’s psychosis, then? We’ll take that.

Rob may not have been physically present at Dior’s London Men’s Pre-Fall Show, but he was vocally there. According to WWD: “A recording of Robert Pattinson reciting lines from Kerouac’s works was also worked into the show’s soundtrack”. Listen to Rob’s dulcet tones below.
