Oh Maria, it is like you read my mind… I have had an urge to comment on this particular jacket of his for a long time (he wore it for TIFF 2018 press conference with Denis and Goth). I hate it. The color is wrong, the texture is wrong… wrong, wrong, wrong. It hurts my eyes, maybe I have a thing against brown corduroy. Who picked it? Obviously, he still looks great, but… no to the jacket.

Hi! hi! I agree with you PM. He of course looks so great but there is something about this jacket and the blue tiling in the background. In french we would say that both « donnent le cafard ». A bit gloomy

LOL, thank you Aline for endorsing my dramatic outburst! I am no fashionista or French (who I think have excellent taste in fashion/music/movies :)), even I see it.

I’m not a fan either and I agree the blue tiles don’t seem to bring out the best of the outfit. I have to say though because a lot of people criticised the shirt Rob wore in Sydney for Breaking Dawn Pt 2 promo – in person it looked far better than how it transposed in photos. So maybe that’s what has happened with this jacket. LOL to ‘no to the jacket”. Sometimes Rob does choose odd combos (looking at you shorts with suit jacket lol)

I actually like his unorthodox choices. Remember when he wore a track suit inside a suit jacket for TIFF 2018 premiere with a colorful shirt? That looked great and only he can wear untucked shirt with a suit. I even like his other avant garde colorful photo shoots, but yes, no to the jacket. I hope he burns it. LOL.

In addition to his sartorial greatness, his hair is so much more versatile than of any other actor I have seen and he uses it brilliantly to effect in each role he plays. What do you know when I find this GQ article today on just that! (and of course, old is new to me on this blog).
