So much love for Rob today on social media. Rob’s been trending on twitter and apparently there is an algorithm following live tweets for Rob’s birthday. Here’s a few from colleagues etc wishing Rob a happy birthday.

    Another good thing that has happened since I started digging up on RP is Van Morrison. I am a Led Zeppelin girl but Morrison uses Sax and I love it. My favorite song of his is “Days like this” and it uses a straight pentatonic scale with notes sa ri ga pa da (Indian), equivalent to C, D, E, G and A in the western notations (may need to verify that). That scale I don’t know why, appears a lot in Chinese music (not known for their music but that scale is there everywhere) too.
