Robert Pattinson featured on cover of Swiss Bilan LUXE Magazine

Another sneak peek into this magazine and another new photo and an extract translated thanks to Google

I’m not afraid to disturb or shock”

What can we expect from Tenet?

Chris Nolan is the most secretive director I know. And I am incapable of not telling a film when I promote. Then I was ordered to say nothing. The advantage of Tenet is that I did not understand everything the first time I read the script anyway and so I was happy to just learn my lines (laughs).

Many great actors need to live as their characters during filming. How about you?

I don’t need to live 24 hours a day in the skin of a role, but I like to isolate myself. In recent years, I appreciate more and more loneliness . This prevents me from showing my OCD to everyone (laughs). I was diagnosed young with obsessive-compulsive disorder, so I tended to like loneliness, which may seem counter intuitive with this job. The only concern is that the more I isolate myself, the more I feel like I’m going crazy. When I was younger, I did silly things thinking that it was necessary for my role like getting drunk on the set of “Water for the Elephants” – with Reese Witherspoon – because my character was drunk in the sequence . It was horrible. I was so paranoid that I felt like the whole team was judging me. I thought having a good dose of alcohol would make me more believable.
