WOW I thought we were being spoilt with these additional pics, then there’s this video, what an absolute treasure and I’m having what I can only describe as something more potent than any spiritual or out of body experience I’ve known.

@RD thanks for the email about Shining – yes we know they exist – they have been around since last year. The reason you haven’t seen them on our site is because his agent refuses to allow us to post them and I now REFUSE to post any of his photos as I was sick of his agent threatening us with legal action to remove them. Noone will post those photos – it’s the same with Mark Segal – so we have seen them – we know they exist – but unfortuntaely we won’t post them because how often can you be harassed by the same photographers agent without it becoming annoying. Hence why my comment on the site about Shining we have a new Rug Rob.

Just watched the clip and read the article and have to say I feel sorry for him. It must have been torture for him to do because of his shyess. Great read and great pics. I still have to say the VF photo shoot is my fav. Also what’s with the Shinning I know nothing about it and if they are photos would love to see them.

Haha @sonya – I don’t think Rob is as shy as we think – he wouldn’t do anything that he doesn’t want to do. I don’t think the shoot was torture for him. Tiring yes – torture no. As for Shining – I’ve already posted an explanation somewhere to RD about why those photos won’t be seen on our site. You won’t see them anywhere really. Are you new to Rob? I mean the Shining saga has been around since about Aug/Sept last year.

@RD it’s got to do about sale of the originals – having them spread across the net actually depreciates them if they haven’t been sold to media outlets. I understand from a business perspective but most photographers’ agents don’t give us grief.

Ah @Sonya – what a thrill to see Rob all from the beginning. Well then I have to congratulate you for seeing the light – hehe. Yep some of Shining’s pics were good. You might see a few I’ve snuck on under magazine scans and I think I refer to him as “the photographer who shan’t be named”, but they are in no way in the league of Norman Jean Roy, Theo Wenner or Bruce Weber – nowhere near. Oh I just realised – the black shirt one you are talking about is Mark Segal – now that’s a whole different story. He too refuses the pics to be posted. Those photos are amazing- he could have been in our hall of fame, but unfortunately we had to delete them from the site. They shut us down for one of his pics – was not a happy day at all.
