In the meantime, if you want a chance to meet Rob at the 2021 event, you can enter by donating HERE. As of today, GO confirms Robert’s 2020 Gala Campaign alone has raised $9,912 for Covid-19 Relief and programs supporting racial equality for children around the world!
The Go Global Gala has been moved from 17 October 2020 to 24 October 2020. Variety has shared this statement from Rob:
I’m grateful that we can still come together virtually and now globally to help raise funds for Go Campaign and its mission to support families and children worldwide,” Pattinson said in a statement on Thursday morning.
Interestingly it is being reported that Rob will be filming The Batman in Chicago and it does coincide with the weekend of 24 October 2020. Perhaps the 2 hour time difference to LA which would see Rob join the virtual event at 8pm rather than the 8 hour time difference from London which would have him join at 2am is better suited. Not suggesting they changed the date for Rob, but it may be to his benefit if he is in fact going to be in Chicago.
NOTE: For Aussies – 6pm LA time will be Sunday 12.00pm 25 October 2020
Celebrate Robert Pattinson’s 34th Birthday by sharing
The Go Campaign in association with @RobPBirthdayPro have kicked off their sixth campaign to help raise money in honour of Rob to celebrate his 34th birthday.
We understand that we are all doing it tough during these unprecedented times and we hope everyone is keeping healthy and safe. As you know, one of the aims of @gocampaign is to improve the lives of vulnerable children around the world. This year they have chosen to support the following campaign in Rob’s name:
From Chicago to Cambodia, to South Central LA to South Africa, we are in contact with our Local Heroes daily, learning what they need in order to keep the children in their communities safe, healthy and fed. Every single dollar has an incredible impact, and while we know everyone is struggling, we are grateful to you for giving what you can in honor of Rob.
$5 can provide food and hygiene supplies for a street child for over 2 weeks
$10 can provide face mask for ten health care clinic workers
$25 can provide more than 2 liters of powdered milk to a family
$50 can provide food and hygiene supplies for 25 street children for one week
$150 provides 10 liters of water for hand washing as well as soaps, sanitizers, hand towel and tissues, masks and nutritious food to a family
$300 can provide 1,000 cooked meals
With your help, we are able to bring real, immediate relief to the world’s most vulnerable children who are suffering during this pandemic.
