FILM UPDATES: SAG-AFTRA Strike 14 July 2023

As of 12.01 am 14 July 2023, all SAG-AFTRA members are on strike – this includes Rob as a member. Actors are asked to leave their sets and not do any promotional work:

1. Members must not cross SAG-AFTRA picket lines, subject to the exceptions outlined in
   SAG-AFTRA’s Notice Regarding Non-Struck Work.
2. Members must instruct their agent and/or other representatives to discontinue
   conducting negotiations on their behalf with the studios, streamers and networks for
   covered services

This will no doubt affect the start date for filming Average Height, Average Build and possibly the release of Mickey17. Given that Matt Reeves had already joined the writer’s strike, I can’t imagine Batman 2 will be on track with filming schedules later this year. I will keep you updated as soon as more information comes to light.
