Dior Beauty instagram teases us by asking if we’re ready to step into the ring with new Dior Homme Sport – oh yeah are we ready! More apparently coming soon – perhaps to tie in with Valentine’s Day and the release of Batman.

Updated: 3 February 2022

Dior’s official YouTube posted this video on 2 February 2022 – how could I not share. It’s the campaign that keeps on giving.

esVivir (Spain) was promoting Dior Homme Sport and had this to say about Rob and shared these great outtakes. Why they have hidden these from us for almost 2 years is beyond me, but as they say – better late than never:

Robert Pattinson, the boxer

The famous actor stars in the campaign for this perfume playing a boxer who, following Leonard Cohen’s lyrics, is willing to get into the ring to fight for what he loves.

There’s been speculation that the photo above was an edit, but now it’s been seen in a mall at Mall St Matthews Kentucky (see below) and so looks legit. Which is why I’m posting now.

Thanks @Monsieur_HJ for IG heads up | HQ Photo Source

UPDATE: 6 January 2022

Dior’s US website now has the new Rob promo shot. For some reason we don’t have it on the Australian version of the Dior site yet.

I’m also sharing the wider full shot from the image. I like the description – it depicts Rob perfectly: “A spicy, woody scent with a distinctly sexy signature. A subtle trail that leaves a unique impression, synonymous with a style that’s alluring, casual and free.”

Thanks @Monsieur_HJ re heads up for US site

Here’s a wider version of the photo below

It doesn't get much better than this. Any time you're ready for the next round, Dior. We're ready. We're ALWAYS ready.

Maria, is this a new photo? It looks like the face from the academy museum opening time this year but it also looks like from the old b/w photo shoot. Lucky guy, he does not change or age.

It's definitely new photo from the Dior "I'm Your Man" photoshoot

He is THE man of the moment for sure. What I most like about him is that he does not do sh*t like "Don't Look up." Even if he had not made tons of money with Twilight, I am almost positive he would not have made stupid movies like that. I barely could last the first 10 minutes of it. Artistically it was zero and message wise, so much could have been done but was completely tone deaf (a female president from the Democratic party that is worse than the real and dangerously unqualified guy we had for four years?). It was not even remotely funny.

Dior Homme Sport couldn’t get a better promo shot.

Aline, 🙂 he is almost ascetic (from what I can tell from afar, so no way he would make movies just for money and these big names in that movie, they are all multi-millionaires tens times over and they still do stuff like this?). My husband likes to say I am now an expert. I have been watching so many movies these days. Many aborted in the first 10-20 minutes. Among the big ones released so far, I did like the Power of the Dog (the significance of the title to tie it all together is Campion's genius and not being Christian or read the bible, I had to read the relevant Psalm to get it) and the other big movie, The Lost Daughter was disappointing but is an OK average Indie.

I agree PM re Power of the Dog and I wasn’t that impressed with Don’t Look Up and I watched The Lost Daughter and thought it was ok but mainly because I love Olivia Coleman

Maria, I hold you responsible! 😉 You recommended the show 'Call my agent' and I got Netflix for it (I had resisted so long, LOL) Now it is movies and more movies of all languages all the time! With the Lost Daughter, the premise is loaded that motherhood may not be for everyone and then it falls way short of delivering on it. Americans lack that 'something' to make fine art out of mere human existence of which the French are masters. French movie 'The Easy Girl' is like that. Oh, BTW, speaking of French masters, I saw Beau Travail recently on YouTube. What a treat! I hope Netflix gets some of these masterpieces, including Chocolat.

I really liked 10% (call may agent). Thanks for the tip. I will watch Power of the Dog. Beau Travail is really Great. I have to say I am not watching so much lately. working at night, kids can't go to school (cover). looks like it will against a while in France.

Oh, this is bothering me so let me edit the word 'ascetic' to 'minimalist' (in an effort to not make him a saint, LOL) in my other comment above. Well speaking of saints or not, saw a Moroccan movie called "The Unknown Saint" on Netflix and it was really good.

I have yet to watch Beau Travail – it's on my list which is getting extremely long. Good luck with the homeschooling – it's very tough. Things are not much better here in Australia at the moment.
