Max Schimmelpfennig is inspired by Robert Pattinson

Max Schimmelpfennig from Netflix series “Dark” was asked who inspires him during his interview with The Interviewer and this is what he had to say:

Which actor inspires you and why?

For me Robert Pattinson is an inspiration right now! Because of his choices. He’s choosing his projects very wisely and I have a lot of respect for that because it’s not so easy. Heath Ledger did that too. Smart! When you are reading a script you can hopefully tell if you like it or not. But what you can’t tell is what the shooting is gonna be like. If an actor is choosing his projects very consciously than it tells me that this person knows exactly what he or she is doing and what he or she wants. To be able to know what YOU want or need to be happy… that’s the hardest part. Not only in this industry but also in life
