You might recall yesterday we tweeted about an advance screening of The Lost City of Z at The Environmental Film Festival in Washington DC.  This morning @DCEFF announced that The Lost City of Z is the winner of the “Beautiful Swimmers Award”.  For more info check out the DCEFF here, but by way of short background:

The Environmental Film Festival announces four diverse film awards celebrating environmental advocacy, artistry, sustainability, and reverence for the natural world. The films awarded will receive prize money totaling $30,000+ and will be presented at the 25th Annual Festival, March 14-26.

More Info after the cut

There is an advance screening at the Nat Geographic Society on 23 March 2017 at 7.00 pm with James Gray in attendance.  You can bookmark Nat Geo’s website for the event here.  I’ll post a reminder closer to the date or when Nat Geo updates their website.
