David talks to DP/30 about many things, including Rob transforming his career, finding Rey from the physical on up and if you don’t have a spare 30 minutes in your day, I highly recommend you make some time.  David is so generous and gives some of the best insight to his many worlds, the Rover and Rob and Guy’s work.

Kick back, get comfy and press play … because you know you’re worth it!

Thanks for the find Maria. It’s a treasure!

I can only manage about 5 minutes tonight by it is hard pressing pause and save for later. David just makes me feel so relaxed. He always creates a intimacy, even in interviews.
No one needs to remind me I still have 25min of David to look forward to.

I wish all interviews were like this – one on one, no pressure to finish and move on the the next set of banal questions, an interviewer who was engaged and knowledgeable, who didn’t ask irrelevant and silly questions and whom the interviewee obviously enjoyed talking to. This was revelatory – I loved David’s comments about the sound and music aspects of film – so true. He’s a brilliant, sensitive director and I cannot wait to see more of what this man has to offer in the future. Thank you so much Vertigo and Maria for unearthing this.
