Maria’s Fave Rob Moments in 2013
Well he we are again sharing what moments in 2013 made an impact on us. We don’t know what each other will post so we may or may not have similar fave moments. Even though Rob couldn’t entertain us on a promo tour or in cinemas this year, he still gave us some incredibly special & memorable moments for which I am grateful. Here are a few of mine:
Fave Photoshoot
I know technically this was not a shoot from 2013, but the outtakes were and I just love Autumn De Wilde’s photoshoot for BlackBook magazine. So no surprise that these are my choice. What can I say – tattoo Rob is my weakness.
Fave New Anticipated Movie Role
Of course I’m looking forward to all of Rob’s roles, The Rover especially for obvious reasons, but it’s “Life” with Dane DeHaan that is my choice. I can’t wait to see how Rob and Dane will translate this extraordinary friendship onto the big screen. I was mesmerised by Dane in A Place Beyond the Pines, he reminds me of Rob in that he was this unexpected presence on the screen and talented – no doubt about it. Of course seeing as Rob’s an honorary Aussie I’m chuffed that there is an Aussie connection via the production company who produced one of my fave films The King’s Speech. Now you know why I’m super excited. Thanks Emile Sherman!
Fave Public Appearance
I’m torn between Rob at the LA Children’s Hospital and the Seduced & Abandoned screening – so what the hell here’s a little montage of both. I’m not going to pick one over the other. Rob was so gorgeous with the children on that day and what an unexpected surprise. Much like Cindy tweeting me whether I had seen the pics of Rob on Getty images at the screening – which I had not – so thanks Cindy that was an epic find. And for some reason I kept calling it “Seduced & Abused” – I think that was a Freudian slip *oops*
 
Fave Dior Moment
What to choose, what to choose. I think my truly favourite Dior moment was being invited to a special presentation at Dior’s Sydney head office and having the opportunity to play with the “viewfinder”, but if I have to choose which moment for Rob – it was definitely the unveiling of the Official and Uncensored Films. I remember it was posted by a non Dior site and we were steadfast in waiting for Dior to unleash it. I personally was called an idiot or maybe a dumbarse when I refused to post it, but you know me, I really don’t care what people think because loyalty is a wonderful character trait and Dior have been so good to RPAU that they deserved it from us.

Fave Unexpected Moment
Rob gave us quite a few unexpected moments in 2013, and although this didn’t happen this year and was uploaded in 2012, it wasn’t discovered until recently and there is no way I could go past Rob singing Karaoke with Katy Perry. I’ve never truly been a fan of Katy’s singing (or lack there of since I heard her sing live at the European MTV Awards in 2008 or 2009), and I really think Rob’s raw singing voice is far superior to hers, but then again I could be biased. This vid will always put a smile on my face.

See, that’s why I love this site – Integrity. Maria, thank you for suffering the slings and arrows of the ignorant rabid morons out there for the sake of keeping this site ‘clean’, and not just in this instance. Girl, you can hold your head up and be proud – Rob is so lucky to have people like you and Michelle on his side. I’d rather side with a ‘dumb-arse’ and an ‘idiot’ than be part of the spiteful, greedy bitch-fest that exists out there. We’re here for Rob, after all. These are wonderful Maria, thank you so much….I remember that awful time prior to the Dior unleashing officially..a real eye opener!! :/ but hey DiorRob was the reward and then some!! Fantastic post Maria and Rob singing with Katy!! How much awesome was that. 😀 Not biased at all – I totally agree re Rob’s voice being superior.
So much fun doing these reflections on 2013 and LOL to being on the same wavelength. We have very similar understandings when it comes to Rob.
