Mission:Blacklist Update: “Financed and green-lit for production next year …”

According to an article about Embankment Films in ScreenDaily:

“Financed and green-lit for production next year are The Dressmaker starring Kate Winslet, and Mission Blacklist starring Robert Pattinson” (my emphasis)

This movie is starting to remind me of Unbound Captives.  Although I guess losing a director, finding a new director, finance may have disappeared with original director.  It’s all possible in the wonderful world that is the film industry.  I just hope we don’t spend all of next year wondering when is M:B filming.

I really hope MB goes ahead. Even if Rob wasn’t attached I would still be extremely interested in it. Sounds like an incredible story. *crosses everything*

I suppose if we were to believe everything coming out of Hollywood, then Rob will be snowed under with work in January and February of 2014 as he has 3 movies lined up at the same time! How does THAT work? It’s almost like they’re all scrambling after each other to secure the same time slots. Weird. Now, why don’t they line up nicely and patiently, and then all three movies can get made. Rob will be happier, and we, in turn, will be ecstatic. Win win, in my opinion.
Maria, just adore that gif – oh god, those eyes…!

@Trish – Rob’s role in QoTD is supporting – he might only be needed for 10 or so days. M:B starts principal photography, but that doesn’t mean it will film then and Life might start Feb but it may not be until the very end.

Nothing is set in stone in Hollywood until he’s actually on set.

Thanks, Maria. You’re a font of information on all things Rob. Actually, that makes me feel better knowing all this – more likely it’s going to happen, and not just a pipe dream. It’s given me hope!
