What I’d give for an audio of this interview ~ I can only imagine the content, given these images! I am loving the psycho one of him with the knife sitting in the corner. And the black & white corridor shot. Oh, and the pink shirt. And…..the bed….. the couch….. umm, what’s my name?

@Sue I believe the shoot is homage to Cronenberg’s past films like Dead Ringers (the pregnant woman and twin Robs), maybe A History of Violence. @Vertigo can probably shed light on a few more. Probably Crash …

Wow @Maria ~ thanks for that. What an awesome idea. Bet it made Cronenberg smile! I have to pinch myself lately with everything Rob-related ~ it’s been truly amazing. And having Cannes almost upon us …. it’s just all feels so perfect.

This photoshoot and interview are BEYOND AWESOME!!! You guys can find the full translation out there. It is really worth reading. I wish I could get my hands on the mag.

@maria you are right it is a tribute to Cronenberg’s past films. I believe it’s Dead Ringers, Videodrome and Scanners.

Loving the edge and grit in this shoot, the man is on fire! I mean really on fire, those eyes, thise jeans upside down and TWO Rob’s. My life may never be the same after seeing these.
Move over girls I need some serious time in the naughty corner, there’s no place like home 🙂

@ephie thanks for the email – is that your translation? I’ve seen the ones on the net which is why I asked if you could do it for us. I prefer it when someone who has English as their first language translate it rather than the other way around – it seems to me that some of the responses are lost in translation because they don’t understand that English humour 😀

Hi @maria, most of it is mine but I must admit that I took some phrases from others as I liked them better. It’s very close to the French text I’ve gone over it a few times. The funny thing is the French text is already a translation from the English haha. Reading it though I got the sense that it was genuinely Rob’s words.
