We posted here on Friday that we could sign up to be notified when Bel Ami was available at Amazon UK & guess what – we now have a date *does cartwheel* July 23 2012 – perfect Birthday present for you Maria, just absolutely perfect!

Hi @michelle – thanks once again for bringing us this wonderful news!!!
I really want to thank you for telling about unlocking the DVD player. I was not able to answer earlier – but I will definitely do that tonight. I bought a Toshiba recently for about $79.00 so maybe the unlock code will be in the box. Otherwise I will google it.
Sorry for my ignorance would the code be printed on the box or on the instructions manual?

Oh…I soooo can’t wait to meet Monsieur Georges Duroy (after reading the novel in French I am even more eager for his acquaintance. Reading his words in French – especially when he is in seduction mode is quite an experience).

Hi @sue – yes it is delightful and he is a real cad – no redeeming features whatsoever. But reading it in French when he says “Je vous adore. Je vous aime a en perdre la tete (I adore you – I love you so much I’m losing my mind)” it does have an effect on you…you know what I mean?

Try looking in the box or the manual ephie for an unlock code but if it’s not there Google it & you should have no probs. If you need any help, we’re always here 😀

OMG Ephie! I’m a bit hot and bothered myself now too. What a thought! I heard Nicolas Sarkozy talking about crime on Triple J today and that was enough to raise an eyebrow. To hear Rob whisper endearments in French would be worth the ticket and more. And the Toshiba DVDs have the unlock code on an orange card inside the box but as Michelle mentioned, you can Google it anyway

Oh goodness Rob in any language is HOT, but French would just blow my mind – OOh la la I am definitely going to need some me time when this ones comes out 🙂 – I am definitely thinking a Gold Class visit (fingers crossed) Thank you for the update and I am off to Amazon – but have two screens open so I can view RPAU at the same time so much to catch up on.

Thanks Carmel. My DVD player included a disc for a firmware upgrade which I just did and it worked!! I tried a DVD that would not play before and it’s working fine now. Thanks everyone for helping with this.
Yes Mr Sarkozy speaks beautifully and relatively slowly so I can follow him easily. Rob’s velvety voice was made for speaking French me thinks.

I know silvie, it’s just insanity. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it & I noticed it as soon as I looked at it – of course. It’s a disgrace that firstly they cannot spell his name properly & then to publish it. As I said, I truly hope they realise & fix it.
