Only a little bit of Rob in this teaser but as usual, he’s the only thing I ever pay any attention to.  And so the farewell to Edward Cullen begins…

Full teaser trailer is due March 26. Lots of Edward please!

Oh Rob you so don’t look 17 … agree Michelle time to start saying goodbye to Edward. Cannot wait to see what Rob has in store for us post BD Pt 2.

Sorry not going to watch any of it. I sound negative I know but I really wish it had been a Cosmopolis trailer instead And twi’s do not come on here hating the girls, this is my opinion only and please girls edit my comment if you must I love Rob as Edward but it’s time for this to be over.

No definitely not 17!!!! A tinge of sadness at saying goodbye but definitely overridden with excitement for what we have to look forward to post BD2!!!!! Thanks Michelle.

Oh, and powers that be, the trailer needs PLENTY of Edward, in fact a whole trailer of just Edward would be fine with me, just sayin!!!!!

@Cindy – no probs. I really think Summit should have released this film before now – the things I’ve seen on the internet the last few days. I asked the girls if I slept through March and woke up on April Fool’s Day because that’s the only explanation I have for some of the things I’ve seen and unfortunately cannot unsee.

I love Rob, Edward is part of him, but some (not all) the twi fandom … I’m more than happy to say goodbye to them.

Me too Maria, so so excited. Cannot wait to see what brilliance he has in store for us. Rob ALWAYS brings us quality.

No way you are going to be edited Cindy. I couldn’t agree more re: wish it was the Cosmo trailer we are seeing. I absolutely adore Rob as Edward, of course I do, but I am SO ready for Twilight to be over. To be honest, the day cannot come quick enough.

*nods* re: what Maria has mentioned above. I cannot believe what I read sometimes, truly I cannot.

  • Vicky

Nothing wrong with wanting Twi done and dusted. I adore Edward as well but really, the time has come. What I don’t get is WHY these fans want to hang onto Edward as if there are no other characters Rob has played. I just don’t get that at all!!!!

OK I have to admit I have a soft spot for Edward (my introduction to the beautiful man was Twilight which now seems so many worlds ago and resulted in my quest to purchase all of his other DVD;’s (accomplished and some doubled up – that isn’t wrong is it) and my introduction to your fantastic site, so I have a lot to thank Twilight for but agree with you Michelle, Maria and Cindy – I am sooo looking forward to Rob’s projects in 2012 and beyond

  • Maria
    Posted on March 20, 2012

@Vicky I guess it’s because it’s Edward that they love … not Rob. Otherwise his non-Twi projects would be raking in much more cash than they do – not that they do bad, but in comparison … oh well – too bad me no sad – more for us to enjoy *giggles*

  • Vicky
    Posted on March 20, 2012

I can live with that Maria!!!!!!

  • Michelle
    Posted on March 20, 2012

Exactly Vicky, what about all the previous roles Rob has played & all the future ones he is going to. Frustrates me beyond words. True what you say Maria, people are really showing their true colours of late. Their loss completely – not ours & yes more for us 😀

  • Maria
    Posted on March 20, 2012

LOL @Elane it’s like a confessional. It’s okay that you were introduced to Rob through Edward, but it’s the fact that you are excited about his future projects that sets you apart … we are all happy to let Edward go. I personally prefer Rob’s work in smaller arthouse film, but I’ll take him whichever way as long as he’s satisfied with what he’s doing

“Nous sommes a la meme température maintenant” …….. oops, wrong movie, blame Ephie!

I too, will always have a soft spot for Edward, (same reason as you, Elane) but yeah, there’s so much more out there for him, I can’t wait to see what his future holds. Knowing that he’ll make wonderful, interesting choices is definitely enough to keep me watching, for as long as he chooses to stay in this business.

Thanks Michelle …… and yes, lots of Edward in the trailer, please! Just think, we’ve got months of Georges and Eric to enjoy before BD2 even arrives!

Well it’s about time we get to start saying goodbye to this saga. It’s way overdue for being over and umm is that the snippet? If they start doling out teasers like this from now, I better get ready by having someone perform some of that slow chinese water torture on me for good measure. I mean practice. Oh you know what I mean. We should have seen this movie months ago.

    Go Rob!

  • Michelle

Months of Georges & Eric to enjoy – oh I just cannot wait!!!!

Seeing Rob play the piano in BD part two, that would be VERY nice to see in the trailer *looks to the gods* 😀

*nods* to Michelle. That might be the most epic thing about this movie – I want it now. Well that and maybe the applause that takes place during the final credits rolling.

Don’t get me wrong, I need me some Eddie. But I needed him months ago.

Right now I want Georges and Eric.

  • Michelle
    Posted on March 20, 2012

Absolutely Vertigo. Want Georges, want Eric – NOW!!!!

I am confident that this time next year you will all be wishing you were looking forward to another twilight movie!

  • Maria
    Posted on March 21, 2012

@Lynda – most definitely not since I’m not even looking forward to this one and haven’t looked forward to one since the abomination that was New Moon, but that’s okay we are all entitled to our opinion.

  • Jules

Totally agree with you all – Rob as Edward is a beautiful, wonderful thing but Summit have dragged this out for long enough and played us all. The hate out there, in and out of this fandom, is just – there are no words. I am bone tired of it all. Just get it over with already and move on folks – life is too short. I soooo can’t wait for you girls to see him as Bel Ami and then join you all in squeeing over a new Cosmo trailer and promotion whenever we get it. I look forward to Rob’s future, whatever he is planning – I’ll be there to support him, as I know all you will too. Looking forward to sharing it with you all. xx 🙂

Lynda, you are entitled to your opinion however, I know I will be looking forward to Rob’s next project and no, I will not be wishing for another Twi movie.

  • Michelle
    Posted on March 21, 2012

You might be confident Lynda when speaking of behalf of yourself , but me personally, I can guarantee you I won’t be wishing I was looking forward to another Twilight movie come next year. What I WILL be looking forward to however is Rob’s next project. It’s all about Rob for me, as I’ve said tonnes of times before he is the only reason why I have any interest in Twilight so as far as being excited for the films themselves – um yeah that would be a no.

We at RPAU are behind Rob every step of the way in his career. Our dedication to this beautiful & talented man can never be questioned. He has our support – 100% & always.

I can’t wait for more Edward and I can’t wait for more from Rob too

I love the character of Edward. He will always be a part of Rob, just as Cedric, Daniel, Art, Dali, Tyler, Jacob, and Georges are. But I agree with everyone, it’s time for Twilight to be over and time to move on. For me, 2012 is about Georges Duroy and Eric Packer. No, I will definitely not be wishing for another Twilight film this time next year. Rather, I will be excited about his next project. As Rob’s career moves forward, whether it be acting, music, behind the camera, etc. I will be there to support him. And, as Jules said, I look forward to sharing it with all of you. 🙂

Well it will be an end of an era but I am most definately ready to say goodbye to Edward and a big hello there to Georges and Eric and whoever else Rob has installed for us in the future. Edward introduced me to Rob and I will always be grateful otherwise I would have missed out on all the other amazing roles that Rob has played however I do think playing Edward is quite limiting to his talent. We have seen how amazing Rob is in other roles and can’t wait to watch his career expand even further.

I loved the first Twi not fussed on the rest of them so am positive I won’t be wishing for another one. I am over it and time to move on to bigger and better things so no I will not be wishing for more of it. Thanks anyway Lynda.
