Rob in leather, Rob on a motorbike – OMG this is almost just as good if not better than a late night post.
Yeah I know there’s always someone out there who is going to tell me that IMDB is not reliable, but I’m going to respond as usual and say I never said it was, but IMDBPro is definitely used by industry and so far it’s not really led us astray when it comes to Rob’s projects “in development”.  So although Rob was being very coy the other day in one of his interviews about Akira, one must  wonder why it’s listed as “in development” on Rob’s IMDBPro  – funny it doesn’t seem to be listed as rumored under Andrew Garfield or James McAvoy.  The plot thickens ….
UPDATE: Â Unbound Captives no longer showing in Rob’s IMDBPro. Â It’s states “In Development” under the movie “Unbound Captives” but lists no cast at all. Â I’ve added screencap below.

Shame about Unbound but the Akira news sure does make the loss of Phineas a LOT easier to take.

So what is Akira? Was it a comic book?
Rob + motorbike + leather = OH WOW! If it goes ahead, ticket sales might be good, but don’t know if anyone will actually see the movie…we’ll all be slumped in our seats having fainted from the sight of something sooooooo HOT!
@caro yes it was a Japanese comic and the character rumoured for Rob is probably best described as the anti-hero. Oh I hope this comes through although I should let you all know that this project has been in the works since 2007 so hopefully it won’t go down the same path as Unbound Captives. I think we already knew that at 25 it was pretty much going to be a stretch to believe Rob as an 18 year old. Plus it was only a supporting role so he wasn’t in the movie all that much.
