TICKETS FOR SYDNEY PREMIERE FOR WATER FOR ELEPHANTS *SOLD OUT*

I just got off the phone from Ticketmaster who have confirmed there are NO Limited Release tickets left for the Sydney premiere.  I said – so you can confirm it’s SOLD OUT – their response was a resounding YES!!!

Fantastic everyone.

I’m sticky posting this until they are SOLD OUT – which really should have been at 9.30 am!

It doesn’t say SOLD OUT yet, but when you try to buy just one ticket you “sometimes” get this ——>

We must be so so close now – c’mon anyone sitting on the fence thinking about buying tickets just do it.  And if you are worried about sitting on your own well don’t – you will be surrounded by at least 500 Rob fans sitting in the  mezzanine.  C’mon DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!  Imagine when you are old and grey and reminiscing about the opportunity you passed up to see Robert Pattinson in the flesh – yeah not a happy thought is it.

You know what a stickler I am so as soon as the SOLD OUT goes up I’ll update this.   I said this on Twitter last night, but I don’t think I can say it enough, to all our affies, non-affies and followers (both local and international) who RT’d, bought tickets, RT’d again, put up with my nagging and pimping and even my possible suggestions of  selling your souls – I thank you from the bottom of my heart because we may not have achieved this without your help.  I asked to make Rob proud and I’m positive we have done that.  Seriously Rob’s fandom with all it’s craziness always comes through when it’s about celebrating this man.

I can’t believe I’m saying this BUT, there are still tickets available for the premiere in Sydney on 6 May 2011 – c’mon people this could be a once in a lifetime event – no wait – this WILL be a once in a lifetime event.  Movies like Water For Elephants don’t come along everyday.  I can’t remember the last time they made a film like this – oh wait yes I can I wasn’t even born!

Click here to purchase your tickets – seriously what the hell are you waiting for.  Rob in Australia.  Rob in Sydney. Sitting in the same cinema as Rob, Christoph and Francis – in my opinion the ticket prices for this experience are a giveaway!!!

hey doesn’t anyone know if you are able to watch the red carpet and see the celebs enter if you don’t have a ticket to the premiere viewing?

I suspect you will be able to line Pitt Street Mall to watch the red carpet arrivals like all red carpet events

As I said further up in the comments as soon as we get further confirmed information we will let you all know

What is everyone going to wear?! 1930’s? Or semi formal? Or just dressy?

    Maria

    • April 7, 2011 at 5:43 pm

@ShazaM – the ticket clearly specifies that it is a “black tie” event – you might be able to get away with 1930’s evening wear but I don’t think semi formal or dressy will meet that criteria.

just out of curiosity, did anyone do the maths on how many of those beautiful limited seats are going to have RPAU faithful bums on them? (did I mention I am so sad I’m not taking one of those seats?!)

Hi girls, the event is today! I’m so excited! Still gutted I didn’t get tix for the premiere (boohoo!) but I will be among the thousands lining up along the red carpet. Just wondering how early will you all be there? I’ll be leaving from Sydney uni to Pitt St mall about 3pm! Ooooo… I can’t wait!!! 🙂

Btw Bianca, the 300m redcarpet will be at Pitt St, near Pitt st mall just follow the scream and shouting fans you’ll be fine. I think it starts about 6/6.30pm or so 🙂

    xx
