My head is spinning – is it – isn’t it – it is – it won’t.  Seriously there is more toing and froing about the Eclipse premiere than Breaking Dawn period.  Well thanks to MTV we can confirm that the red carpet premiere of Eclipse WILL be held on 24 June 2010 during the LA Film Festival.  Let the craziness begin – is it too early to go and sleep there from now?  Hahaha.  Just kidding.

Oh and in more Rob movie news, I thought I might add that Francis Lawrence, the director for Water For Elephants, tweeted last night that Hal Holbrook has been cast as the older version of Jacob.  That’s a shame Iwas kind of hoping Rob would go for the makeup but I suppose he doesn’t really want to be sitting in a makeup chair every morning for 6 hours.

LOL there certainly has been some confusion about the details of the Eclipse premiere. Thanks Maria for letting us know MTV have received the offifical word. Ah yes, the craziness is just around the corner. I can hear the screams already.

It is SO good to hear some more W4E casting news. I too was hoping that Rob would play the role of old Jacob but as you say Maria, would have meant a lot of hours for him in the makeup chair which wouldn’t be too fun everyday. Hal is great in the films I have seen him in so am sure he will be great as Old Jacob. So so excited for W4E 😀

LOL Maria! They finally committed to something. *phew* Did you secure those tickets yet? Cause I’ve checked the camp equipment and it seems to be in great shape to handle the trampling of the Twi’s.

I would have liked to see Rob do the old man too. But it’s a good point about the makeup and I think they’ve chosen wisely – that Hal is a lil cutey.

I have just started reading W4E for the second time and I was so looking forward to Old man Rob. I think he would have enjoyed playing that part.
Having said that, I think Hal Holbrook is a good casting. Can’t wait for this movie.
