I was really excited to see these photos of Rob from the short film The Summer House.  As we all know, Rob plays the character of Richard.  There is no release date at the moment for this film but I really hope we get to see it one day very soon.  From what I have seen & heard it sounds like a great little film.

    This looks good and sounds like a great story – any news on an Australian distributor?

    Kathryn – we haven’t heard any news of an Australian distributor or any distributor news for the film as yet. Very little information about the film has been announced thus far & no release dates have been mentioned. As it is only a short film, it is not something that is going to have a cinema release in Australia. Hopefully it will be available for us to purchase on DVD sometime in the near future. I am really looking forward to seeing it.

    We will most definitely let you all know when we find out any more information.

    I had to do a double take at Richard in that first photo – lol. It was Rob channeling John Lennon! Hello Richard – shame you are only a 14 min film (or thereabouts).

    hi yes i would like to know any updates for this film as its january 17th 2010 and have had NO new news on this surly if its only a short film they would have done it by now as i have read the book and really WANT to see this film.

    can someone get back to me asap please its driving me mad !!!!!

    This short film has already been made – Rob filmed it in 2008 – it’s 14 mins long. The rumour was that it will be released on DVD to be sold with the book, but nothing has been confirmed.
