HitFlix confirmed that Rob will be a presenter at the Oscars

Hitflix posted an EXCLUSIVE, confirming Rob’s appearance on the 81st Academy Awards Night this Sunday. They are unable to tell us whether Kristen Stewart will also be there. And apparently, everyone is curious about who Rob is bringing down the red carpet as his date for the night. Camilla Belle?? or Tom Sturridge??

The Oscars is really a big deal. I can’t believe how fast Rob has risen to super-stardom. About a year ago, not many people have heard about him. And now…an Oscar presenter? Wow…this news has left me totally flabbergasted.

OMG – now I will have to sit through 4 hours of dribble just to see a glimpse. It’s going to be tough but I will do IT!

    LOL @ Maria.

This is huge! It’s also the first time we here in Oz will be getting it LIVE. Channel 9 will be screening the Red carpet at 12.00 midday and the ceremony kicks off at 12.30 Monday our time.
I’m supposed to be on a long distance road trip that day, umm, think it’s time to shuffle everyone’s plans. ouch!

    Hi Vertigo…

Thanks so much for the info. I will be sitting, glued to the TV screen…and probably record the whole thing anyway.

I wouldn’t change plans for Sunday yet folks! The Academy officially stated some time ago that they will not confirm any of the presenters before the actual day of the ceremony. Rumors have been circulating for some time about Kristen presenting, but it was never confirmed. A producer of the awards has stated there would be a Twilight presence, but we don’t know if that means presenters or references to the film during the show. We’ll have to wait and see! I don’t see how Robert’s appearance could be confirmed factually by anyone but the Academy, and they’re not confirming!
