It has been confirmed by both Alberto Barbera (The Venice Film Festival’s Artistic Director) & Deauville Film Festival Twitter that Rob will be unable to attend both festivals:

While this is disappointing, as we won’t get to see Rob, there IS the silver lining in that he is going to be busy on set filming what is going to be a fantastic movie – The Lost City Of Z. Don’t know about you, but that makes me feel happy 🙂 🙂

    Thanks so much for your updates Michelle, it was always strange he was expected to fit in two festivals on the same day and now a third commitment of filming in the mix…. Nothing he can do but get on and give us the most wonderful Henry Costin….so much to look forward to with LIFE just around the corner for most of us too. Soooo freaking excited!! 🙂 🙂

    As much as I love Red Carpet Rob, I’d prefer him to be working.
