We have just received official confirmation direct from Hopscotch Films that they have the distribution rights for Bel-Ami in Australia.  How exciting is this.  It is so wonderful to hear some Bel-Ami news.  I am seriously so excited for this film & just absolutely cannot wait to see Rob in the role of Georges.  He is going to be brilliant.  Of course no release date is set as yet but we will be bringing you any info we receive as soon as it comes to hand.  Thanks to @remembermefilm for the original tip.

hahahaha Maria, I can see you and Michelle doing the dance of joy. This is great news, makes it more real. Now … where’s my copy of Bel Ami? It should’ve been here by now. *taps foot* and don’t give me none of that strike crap – I want my Georges dammit.

@Vertigo – hehehehe, dance of joy for sure. I may have squealed a *little bit* out loud when I saw the confirmation hehe. Today has been an amazing day. 79 days to go until RM, Bel-Ami Oz dist news & the delivery of our new 42inch plasma TV. Have just been testing it out watching little snippets of all of Rob’s movies *sigh* 😀

Stop withholding Vertigo’s copy of Bel-Ami Australia Post & hand Georges over to her. Don’t make us all come down there after you with our pointy sticks! First stop Oz Post then moving onto those stupid selfish hotlinkers.
