New Moon Premiere “Live from the Red Carpet” on Ch9 (Updated)
Okay so I was just watching Two & A Half Men on Channel 9 and they were advertising that they have the New Moon Premiere “Live From The Red Carpet” at 11.00 am tomorrow, then a report at 4.30 pm and again on the 6.30 pm News.   I’ve checked their programme guide and it’s not updated yet, but I saw it with my own eyes so for those of you lucky enough to be home tomorrow I recommend you tune in to watch it live. Finally someone is paying attention.  Not like the Oscars back in February where they edited him out of the encore screening (yes I know I stayed up to watch it) and of course no Aussie mag even bothered to print a pic of Rob back then. How times have changed.
Update: I spoke with Channel 9 about 30 mins ago. They seem to think that the coverage is just part of the 11am news and not a full separate coverage. Sorry everyone that’s not how it looked when they advertised yesterday. Sneaky Ch9 very very sneaky. Still at least Rob is getting some recognition which again is more than I can say for their Oscars coverage.

Thanks for letting us know Maria. Will definitely be tuning in. Times sure have changed that is for sure. Amazing the difference those few months since the Oscars have made. Still cannot believe they cut Rob out of the encore screening, insanity. Good to see they have finally came to their senses now & started to take notice.

I never used to watch 9, but now they have gone twilight saga bonkers – must be some Robsessed women around there – and probably in their homes. 9 also owns heaps of those crap mags making mega bucks off Rob’s face.

Another 3 days for me. 🙁 as a girl still in her teens, parents said no. Anyway, 68 hours, 25 for minutes! So soon. I remember when i was excited coz it was 200 days! Finally, the movie i have been waiting for almost my whole teenage life is here! Thats not sad, is it?

I saw it too, they said just as you said – love 2 and half men, but loving all the Twilight specials, TV hasn’t done this with any other film that I can remember – although I may be wrong and usually am, Star Wars maybe, I know they use to cross live to the Aussie dudde that was 1st in line back then, but this is cool.

I also just did the time coversion – 11am=4pm LA, & USA says the thing starts at 6pm; so what would you see 2hrs early exactly?Crowd stuff??

I think they said watch the red carpet arrivals. I’d say Channel 9 will be doing something similar to the Emmys maybe. I’m not sure, but they definitely made a big announcement that it was “watch the red carpet live” so I don’t think it’s just a snippet in their news, but time will tell. I’ll check in the morning before I go to work and let you all know.
