Robert Pattinson with Tai the Elephant #WaterforElephants
#WaterforElephants holds a special place in my heart as it was Rob’s first visit to Australia was for the premiere and out first time seeing him in person. Marline Von Arx brought back great memories by sharing this wonderful photo with Rob and Tai aka “Rosie” as her #ThrowbackThursday.
Robert Pattinson in Sydney for Water for Elephants on 6 May 2011
I’m not really sure where the last 6 years have gone (other than me sitting at my laptop sharing more Robert events) but it amazes me that exactly 6 years ago today was the first time we glimpsed Robert in the flesh at the Sydney premiere for Water For Elephants. We were so grateful to be invited to the red carpet, you don’t forget an invite that says “Robert Pattinson and Christoph Walz invites” although unfortunately Christoph pulled out last minute, we still got to walk the red carpet, I got interviewed by James Tobin and well – there was Robert. That first moment when Robert’s leg emerged from his car will stay with me forever.
Robert Pattinson photoshoot for Water For Elephants
These seem to be variations of photos we’ve seen before, but I’ve not seen them like this. They are definitely from the James White EW photoshoot for Water for Elephants.
I couldn’t choose between these 2 great interviews, so thought why not share both. The first from Water For Elephants promo in 2011 & the second from Breaking Dawn Part 1 promo, also in 2011. A little trip down Rob memory lane on this Thursday 🙂
