“The Summerhouse” has made it in as an official selection to be screened at the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival, being held from 21st to 31st July 2010.

 July 1969, a young girl flees to France to forget her boyfriend; first his letters pursue her, then he himself follows her there.  During a party to celebrate the moon landing she takes her own small step…

Based on a short story by Ian Beck, “The Summerhouse” .  Starring Talulah Riley and Robert Pattinson.  Ooh

It may be worth it to jump on a plane just to see that beautiful mane on the BIG screen … even if it is only for a few moments.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you most probably saw the pics of Rob’s new haircut for W4E.  Well I’m not going to post them here for obvious reasons, but it has given me inspiration to do a montage of Rob’s different hairstyles over the last few years.  Oh cannot wait until they start filming this weekend and we hopefully don’t have to wait long to get a glimpse of Jacob Jankowski (thought I’d better define!)   Thanks to Campbell Mitchell for the gorgeous photo of Rob as Richard.

I get excited when I hear any little piece of news about this very short film that Rob filmed in 2008.    The Summer House will be screened at CFC Worldwide Short Film Speciality Program on 4 June 2010 in Toronto, Canada.

It was also apparently screened at the East End Film Festival in London on 28 April.  We’re still waiting for confirmation that the most anticipated 14 minutes of film EVER will somehow be released for all of us to own and will let you know as soon as we do.  Thanks to Robert Pattinson Online for the tip.  Plus I love any excuse to post these screencaps of Rob as Richard.
