Sue I don’t know whether the end result might give you nightmares, but The Voice of Reason has posted that McFarlane Toys is to release some Batman statues (or action figures) soon. I’ll update with images when they release, but given Batman’s mask it shouldn’t be too hard for them to recreate Rob’s jaw. Will be interested to see Bruce Wayne though. Stay tuned.

Ha, all this commercial stuff must be amusing to RP. I watched the NY Lincoln Center film society interview for LCOZ last night and the affection and admiration from James Gray for RP was palpable. There are comments on that video (and generally elsewhere) about how RP is socially awkward and does not want to talk, well, he knows he does not have to talk, his movies do the talking. Then there are other actors who talk and seem all confident spouting canned lines but are not interesting at all. Gray was talking about how all the big studios make superhero movies (at which point Tom Holland squealed but no one responded) instead of doing quality stuff. Incidentally, didn’t Reeves say Gray recommended RP for Batman in his fandom video? Gray, RP have a plan to take over the studios, LOL.

I need to rewatch this as it’s been some time since I originally saw it, but yes I think I think there was mention of praise from James Gray. All his directors praise his work ethic which isn’t something you hear much about a lot of other actors.

Well, Reeves does not quite say Gray recommended RP… what he says is at 13:50+
