You won’t get any argument from me. From GameRant

When Robert Pattinson was announced to play Batman in the upcoming trilogy, a lot of fans went on the internet to vent about their favorite superhero being ruined by a man who was in a previous franchise they didn’t like too much. But when photos and trailers started to be released, that worry quickly turned to excitement. And that excitement grew when Robert Pattinson was announced to star in a Christopher Nolan movie—Tenet.

The number of indie films Pattinson has been doing in recent years has shown just how talented he is. There are several moments from the trailer that prove that Robert Pattinson will be the best Batman yet. The first installment in The Batman trilogy has a cast list of amazing actors and a director with an impressive filmography. It may even be better than Christopher Nolan’s trilogy.

Robert Pattinson is in the prime of his life and in his peak acting career years. Thanks to his fandom from his roles in blockbuster hits like Twilight, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Tenet, Pattinson will bring in fans from all over the world much easier than Affleck would have been able to. Pattinson has been making a great effort to expand his abilities with the type of characters he plays. He has taken on some incredible roles that must have been both a challenge and fun experience for him to do. Some of his most memorable recent roles have been in the movies The Lighthouse and Good Time where Pattinson was able to gain experience for his role as Batman by playing these dramatic and serious characters.

“…Pattinson will bring in fans from all over the world much easier than Affleck would have been able to”

Of course, he is more international than any American/other actor I know. Getting Tenet was a lucky break because now he has even more dependable fans from the many countries it was filmed in, like India (right now things are bleak there for actual in theater release but in the long run fandom numbers would be huge under normal circumstances).
