Michael Giacchino says that Robert Pattinson is “an incredible actor … who can do pretty much anything”

Hey U Guys spoke to The Batman composer Michael Giacchino on the BAFTA red carpet yesterday and this is what he had to say about Matt Reeves and The Batman (starts at around 2.24) and why Matt wanted Rob (starts around 3.37) and yes he’s seen Rob’s Batsuit:

I think from day one [Matt] that he was … he’s an amazing actor. He’s an incredible actor. And in this business, you get pigeon holed for certain things. If you do one thing and it goes off well, then that’s the only thing you’re going to be known for. So for someone like him, it’s really not a fair assessment. He’s an amazing actor who can do pretty much anything. And that’s what I’m excited about. To see him in this role, doing something different.”
