We didn’t have to wait long until we have an appearance from Rob in 2018.  Rob will be a presenter at the 75th Golden Globe Awards.  It’s been 5 years since we’ve seen Rob at this event.  Hopefully it transpires like last time – he was about to fly out to Australia to film The Rover.  Fingers crossed this is an omen we see him on our shores again #wishfulthinking

(Aussies can tune into the Globes on FOX8 (FOXTEL) – Countdown to the red carpet from 8.00 am – 10.59am | Red Carpet from 11.00 am to 11.59 am | Globes Live from 12.00pm until 3.00pm.  The show will then be repeated later that evening and also on Saturday 13 January 2018.

NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association have negotiated to allow the broadcaster to stream the show for the first time.

This means that when the broadcast begins at 5 p.m. PT on NBC, non-cable subscribers will be able to access the live stream via services including DirecTV Now, Sling TV, YouTube TV and Hulu with live TV. Cable subscribers will also have access to a live stream via the NBC app and website, provided they authenticate via their cable provider.

The full list of streaming services that will now offer the Globes via the NBC live stream is Century Link Stream, DirecTV Now, Fubo TV, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, Sony PlayStation Vue and YouTube TV. The Globes will be live-streamed in markets where the local NBC station is carried.

Cord-cutters will have other content to watch before and after the show, too. The HFPA and Dick Clark Productions, which produces the show, will offer an exclusive, two-hour red carpet live stream on Facebook, and The Hollywood Reporter will produce an hourlong live aftershow featuring interviews with the winners that will stream on Twitter.
