Weekly update on all career news for Robert Pattinson

Some great surprises this week.  GOOD TIME: We already knew it was complete given that it’s in competition at Cannes, but still good to see it in print. Fabula Films (Turkey) joints Ad Vitam and Ascot Elite as distributors for the film. I wonder who might distribute in Oz. Iggy Pop confirms he’s worked on the film – interesting. No wonder @Josh_Benny have been tweeting about him. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Japan is getting it’s DVD – love the cover art.  Melbourne is getting an exclusive run and the Aussie posters have arrived. I’m told they are also trying to lock down other States so we may have some news next week. Fingers crossed. THE LOST CITY OF Z: Spentzos confirmed to me that the film would be released in Greece on 8 June 2017. Steve Weintraub from Collider did not disappoint with his one on one interview with Robert. Antonio Campos you say Robert. Intrigued. DIOR: I will never tire of seeing Robert in magazine advertisements for Dior. I especially won’t tire of seeing NEW photos either. HIGH LIFE:  August 2017 is not that far away – Monte is on his way. Claire Denis also gave us a little more info on the film. IN OTHER NEWS:  That article in the New York Magazine was interesting, but as I said in the post, no. 7 was completely unnecessary.  Look at Robert networking and surprising us.  David Gorder was nice enough to share his pic. Robert’s at Mr Kelty’s birthday and I’m guessing that’s Craig Kelty from WME. Then Robert popped up at at the”Pop and Suki” Spring event – yes pun intended. LIFE will be premiering on Film4 (UK) next Tuesday. That reminds me I need to watch that film again. Well those new photos/video that we posted on Friday sure were a lovely surprise. What are you up to Mr Pattinson. Suze treated us to a fab reminder of Robert’s reaction to the wax figures. So many gold moments over the years. COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  The Lost City of Z being released in Russia, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Jordan, Kuwait, Bulgaria and Latvia.  It will have an invite only red carpet premiere at En Lefko Film Festival Greece with a public screening on 30 April 2017. Hope next week is another one full of surprises. Until then …
