Hmm I really do need 70s moustachioed Rob in my life – so here’s to hoping that Idol’s Eye gets off the ground with him.  But enough day dreaming – here’s what we know is really happening. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Japan’s adding more cinemas, but it’s still keeping the actual release date a secret.  I guess they are playing on their title Secrets of Monsters. They are monsters for not telling us the date ha! They also updated their website with additional information and released a new character poster. Thanks to Posh we now have the solo Robert poster in HQ.  I also updated the movie reviews. LIFE:  In case you missed it, there were 4 sessions for free (or 25 pesos) in Mexico, but I found that it’s now also showing at National Film Archive until 13 October 2016. DIOR:  Holy Moly – these photos are divine. And how about that sneak peek at the new photo in Shanghai.  GO CAMPAIGN:  Robert has been announced as co-chair for the 5 November Gala with Ewan McGregor. Don’t forget that Robert’s fans are trying to raise $30,000 for his 30th birthday year.  The amount has stalled at around $18,000, so if you want to help donate I’ve added the GO page link to the announcement post.  IN OTHER NEWS: IMAX is screening all the Harry Potter films to celebrate the release of Fantastic Beasts. Lucky people in the US.  Claire Denis will be attending the Alucine Film Festival later this month, I especially like this reference “Among the guests at the event is the French filmmaker Claire Denis, considered by critics as one of the great exponents of cinema.”  For those still considering attending the New York Film Festival (I wish), tickets are still available for a few sessions of The Lost City of Z.  What’s coming up next week?  Apart from the world premiere of LCoZ on 15 Oct - UK residents can catch a screening of The Childhood of a Leader at Nordern Farm, Chichester Cinema at New Park, The Station Cinema North Yorkshire, Bideford Cinema (North Devon) and Adam Smith Cinema (Fife, Scotland).  Wondering what next week will bring … maybe Robert at the NYFF although I have my doubts. I think he’s taken a leaf out of James Dean’s book, but let’s hope I”m wrong  .. until then.

Thanks for the Go Campaign reminder. I’ll pop over now for my monthly top up. I’m sure Rob is hoping we will each attribute a reasonable value for all the joy he provides us
