.@owenlaukkanen Cheekily Tweets Kickstarter Hint to Robert Pattinson #TheProfessionals

You may recall back in 2012 MTV interviewed Wyck Godfrey where he mentioned his and Rob’s interest in Owen Laukkanen’s book The Professionals.  If not we posted about it here.  Now it seems Owen has the rights back and is looking to get the movie back on track. I have my fingers crossed because this would be fantastic. I know how much Jules loved this novel. I also like Owen’s attitude of #puttingitoutthere.  If you haven’t read The Professionals or would like more information about Owen’s work head on over to his website.  I have to admit I’ve owned the hardcopy since 2012 and it’s on my “unread book pile” but it’s definitely getting bumped up the list as soon as I finish reading A Brief History of Seven Killings.

Headed to LA, which reminds me I got the movie rights to THE PROFESSIONALS back last month. So Robert Pattinson, you down for a Kickstarter?
