I started the week off with a lovely surprise. Tom Mulheron’s mother emailed me this gorgeous photo of her son on the set of Lost City of Z in Belfast. He plays Jack Fawcett at age 3. Isn’t he just beautiful. She’s so proud of him and why wouldn’t you be – I see a big future for him.  Look how much he’s captivated us just from that photo. LIFE: So pleased for Anton to be recognised at the Geneva International FF for his work and how fortunate that he gets to introduce the premiere of his new film. Lucky ducks who get to see that.  I came across that video interview where Anton talks about Rob and I think what he says about Rob is spot on. I also updated the movie reviews and yet again, we see some wonderful comments about Rob’s performance. How about that BTS footage – such a tease. I wanted to make some gifs, but my laptop is being looked at for various reasons and the one I have been using doesn’t have the software I need.  I’ll add that to the list of things to do once I get from lappie back.  I also want those solo pics of Rob that Anton took.  Gimme gimme gimme.  Thailand is getting ready to unleash the film on 12 November 2015 and I tweeted a link to the Thai (subtitled) trailer. Netherlands has joined the ranks of Blu-ray/DVD recipients, but unlike us lucky Aussies, they have to wait until March next year. Still it’s on the horizon so that’s good.  The Triskel Arts Centre (Cork, Ireland) is screening the film this week too.  I tweeted the session times today. QUEEN OF THE DESERT: Atlas Distribution is gearing up I guess to announce the release date for the US by launching an official Twitter and Facebook.  2016 looks like it’s going to see this film in quite a few countries. Wonder why it’s taking them so long to unleash. It looks like Top Film distributors are now going to follow suit by changing the release dates for Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Lithuania & Kazakhstan to 2016. In the meantime, if you live in Estonia there are 3 screenings you can attend as part of a Woman’s Night special screening. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Looks like the Portuguese are lucky this time round and not only do they get Brady and this film, but if they hang around they get to see Don DeLillo and Jonathan Demme (who is hosting the Pleasantville Q&A – for those who aren’t familiar with Jonathan – he was the director for Silence of the Lambs and Philadelphia to name just 2 classics and the current Ricki & The Flash). Thanks to Sally too, we know that the movie is being pitched/shown to potential distributors as part of the Rome Film Festival. Variety also spoke with Brady ahead of the special screening at Pleasantville and we find out a little bit more of how things came about for the film. GOOD TIME:  Thanks to the eagle eye of @ropcr we have a little more info about Rob’s character in this film. LOST CITY OF Z:  And slowly they come together. I wonder who else is involved in this film that is yet to be revealed.  I posted the article from SO Film who were fortunate enough to interview James Gray on set in Belfast. It was a great read and gave some background on how difficult it was for the film to get off the ground. It also mentions some spoilers so if you don’t really want to know anything about the film don’t read, but I did because it was really fascinating. IN OTHER NEWS:  How about those photos of Rob from the photoshoots, Tokyo & Cannes. This week has been very good to us HQ/UHQ wise. Glorious. How great was it seeing Rob as no. 9 on IMDb’s Top 25 Stars List.  Oh wait IMDb is inaccurate most of the time maybe I should ignore that.  Yeah that’s me being sarcastic.  David Gilligan spoilt us with a sneak peek at this new video of behind the scenes photos of Rob from “How To Be”.  He did give us the heads up that he was working on another vid. Can’t wait to see the finished product on 22 October 2015 just in time for Michelle’s birthday. Rob as Art is one of Michelle’s (and mine) fave characters. I tweeted about an article that appeared about The Trap. Nothing new was mentioned, but I was just happy to see it mentioned.  Did you see my tweet about David Linde?  How exciting that he’s now CEO of Participant Media. He was such a lovely man to chat with at The Rover premiere. Good things happen to good people.  Looking forward to seeing what is unleashed next week.  Until then …

Ms Mulheron should be proud. Tom has a real presence.

Not lappy problems Maria! – you know how that makes me nervous
