How gorgeous are those new How To Be stills.  And how gorgeous is Jules edit above for us to use.  You are such a gem Jules.  If you could have all seen my face when I first saw them.  I was most definitely on a roll that night finding some more of Ceddie from Goblet of Fire and also better quality Edward Cullen *sigh*.  I keep saying, there’s some gems out there that we still haven’t seen.  How great that  I found at least some.  I’ve dropped the ball the last few days on my searches, but don’t worry I’ll get to them again it makes me feel like a modern day explorer #notreally.  Speaking of which.  Some lucky Brits had the chance to see Queen of the Desert this week – envy is thy name.  Caroline Boulton has been revealed as a new cast mate of Rob’s on The Childhood of a Leader.  I snooped her instagram and there’s some hints of her filming in Budapest.  Also, I checked Protagonist Pictures website again since last week they didn’t have Cannes listed under their “Markets” tab.  Well that most definitely changed. Wouldn’t mind seeing that promo reel for myself especially if it’s anything like The Haunted Airman showreel I came across which is almost 100% Rob.  Hopefully we get some great news coming out of Cannes that all of Rob’s films with a presence in the market pick up distribution (wonders what happened about QoTD and that tweet from Cassian Elwes a few weeks back).  I was reminded by Roboshayka that the “Life” pic that I said was either a new still or just a set photo was in fact a crop of a set photo.  Still good though – it was so rich and crisp.  Looks like France might be getting Life a week earlier than expected too.  Originally it was to be released 30 September, but Allocine and IMDbPro are both now listing the release date as 23 September 2015.  Also thanks to the heads up from Roberta we now have a release date for Life in Italy.  And life was a little tough for those of us in Sydney this week – how about those storms, they reminded me of Michelle’s birthday back in October 2012 when we sat through 4 harsh weather conditions to actually meet Rob.  I may have been inspired by the drenching (and believe me when I say that is an understatement) that Sydney and I received to post some “wet” Rob pics.  Lordy I didn’t see anyone looking as good as that on any of the torrential rain days.  Thankfully the sun peaked through on Thursday, although that was shortlived as I may have sat through a hailstorm during a football match yesterday.  The things we do.  The Rover made some appearances this week, which I’m always thankful for.  And I don’t mean just in my A-Z Appreciation of Rob.  Stan is screening The Rover (and the Twilight Saga) so if you needed incentive to take on their 30 day trial now is the time.  Also thanks Julie (SydneyRobFan) for letting me know that FOXTEL is screening The Rover come 2 May.  Were a few of you surprised that I posted the print interview from F Magazine (Greece)?  You know how wary I am of print media.  I felt some of that interview had been pieced together, but there were some interesting insights.  The one that struck a chord with me the most was Rob saying he didn’t think the paparazzi were a problem.  That’s funny because I’ve been saying that for some time *sideyesthefamewhoreswhosneakpicsofhim*.  I have to agree with him.  Even though I loathe how they say vulgar things to him to get a reaction at times, at least he knows “most” of the time that they are taking pics of him.  I believe Rob’s bigger problem is the amount of people who justify to themselves that it’s okay to take pics of him without his knowledge and then spread them all over the internet with their little stories of what they believe they saw.  Rob has said how much he loathes it.  Of course they never embellish those stories for their own agendas #sarcasm.  I would love for someone to spend a month following those same people and doing it to them.  See how they like that kind of invasion of their privacy because it is an invasion no matter how they want to spin it.  Yeah I can hear their excuses that he’s at a public place blah blah blah – save it because I hear men who take similar photos of women at beaches say the same thing as their defence.  Whatever lets you sleep at night though.  I know what I would do (and have done) in that same situation.  In fact I have been told by someone close to Rob that I’m good like that and it’s an admirable quality.  His words not mine.  Anyway I better get off my soapbox since I know I’m in the minority of people who respect Rob’s privacy.  I’ll leave you with this.  So the storyboard artist for Brimstone has to work with perfection.  I mean how do you deal with that.  Getting him just right – I think God already did that.  Until next week …

Thanks, Maria. Brilliant round up as usual. LOL *sideyesthefamewhoreswhosneakpicsofhim* – so f**ing true! I think anyone who does this is just plain CREEPY. There is NO justification for it, so stick that up your…er…pipe and smoke it. It’s been a lovely week with Toby, Ceddie and Eddie (and Art!) Keep up the excavation work, Maria!

I couldn’t agree more Trish re creepy. Imagine how Rob feels when he sees himself plastered over the internet because he was just living his life.

And can I just add, what kind of a cushy job has that Storyboard Artist got? Seriously, he gets paid to make perfection from perfection? Seriously. Some folks have all the luck! *jealousashellthat’sme*

Maria. those movies we are waiting for.The release dates are getting longer and longer, “Life” 2016,”Coal “Brimstone” who knows. 2017.Now I read that 50 shades will be out in 2018!!! ” by the time we get to see them some of us with be carried in by our carers, we will of course shrunk with age, our hair will just be bits of cobwebs and our eyes will be watery and fading, add to that minus our teeth. What are they taking so long for and as for 50 shades free by the time that surfaces we will have been either sprinkled around the rose bush or blowing in the wind. so annoyed at the snail pace they move. grrrrr

Barbara I don’t know where you heard that Life wasn’t released until 2016. Transmission has told me it will be out second half of 2015 (if not earlier).

There hasn’t been confirmation of a release date for The Childhood of a Leader, but they are aiming for it’s premiere at Venice Film Festival in October this year I believe. Martin Koolhoven said last week that we will probably get Brimstone in middle of next year. Understandable since it’s only starting filming in a few weeks. The only movie release that has been pushed back is The Trap for 2017. But that’s expected considering they haven’t even locked down filming.

I’m not a fan of that other franchise you mention so I’m not sad about it’s delay lol. Sorry.

Thanks for the round up Maria fab as always And one of the piss weak excuses I was told by a famewhore about invasion of robs privacy. And I quote. ‘well he is rich and famous so he has to put up with it” oh yes they think the end justifys the means 🙁

Thankyou Maria. you have brightened my day knowing “Life “will be released earlier than I read, Rob is the number one attraction for me so to hear that “Brimstone” is also going to be released earlier than I read fills me with joy knowing I will still have good clear sight, plenty of hair and all my own teeth. we can forget the other movies.xxx also I saw some new pics of Rob, I haven’t seen him look so relaxed and happy no one smiles like Rob it is infectious.xx

Yeah @Cindy of course it means he isn’t entitled to privacy because being wealthy or “famous” equates to not being treated like a human being. Bet this person is one of the first to jump on the “respect Rob” campaigns too. Truly pathetic. But then they probably sit online 24/7 discussing a life they really know nothing about.

@Maria – I’ve been in internet wasteland. Don’t get me started. Grrrr Your catch up post was especially timely for me. Also, I can’t let your reference to the ANZAC Day match go un-commented on. Wish I was there in that hailstorm with you 😉

@Maria. oops . I should have added to my post regarding the wrong release dates for Rob’s movies. I spend quite a lot of time in Oncologists waiting rooms ,my husband is very unwell, so in future I will take a book with me rather than read the trash mags the crazy thing is I never ever buy those rubbishy mags. xxx

Omg Maria!! You can’t see me but I’m standing applauding you right now!! I could not have put it better re sneaky pics, even if Rob hadn’t said it himself about feeling like it’s stealing, just a horrible creepy thing to do to someone and worse that they are then plastered over the internet. Agree Cindy too, how awful!! 🙁 thank you RPAU for giving me my happy Rob bubble to stay in and thanks for getting on that soapbox every now and then M 🙂 brilliant review as always.

*waves to Carmel* 🙂 and well said Trish 🙂
