Robert Pattinson: RPAU Week in Review 9 to 15 February 2015
 
I don’t like to rub it in but I TOLD YOU we might get some movie news during Berlinale. Wow. Here we were preparing ourselves for the Life photocall/press conference and BOOMBAH we get Rob in a movie with Guy and Mia that sounds bloody fantastic. Even if Rob wasn’t in this film I’d be in the queue at the cinema waiting to see it. I don’t know if you saw the article that I’ve linked below where Martin Koolhoven talks about the script he’s written and how there’s no movie like this before. Reminds me so much of David and The Rover. Knowing both Guy and Rob are on board tells me we are in for something magical. Not sure if they will both be in scenes together, since Rob’s role is quite small, but I’m sure if they are it will be bloody fantastic.  To keep up to date on all official news and links don’t forget to bookmark our Brimstone film page. We’ll link all our posts on articles about the film there. Still blushing over Martin Koolhoven’s correction to my google translate fail yesterday lol. But let me get back to Berlinale.  How glorious did Rob look – that Star Portrait.  Sweet Baby Jesus. If I thought I was excited to see his character in The Childhood of A Leader before it’s off the charts now.  I love that look. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Oh wait, this is supposed to be me putting together a summary of the week not my preferences for Rob and facial hair. Anyway, before someone tells us that there’s a pic out there of Rob’s character in TCoaL – we know - but the production office had already contacted us when filming commenced and we had agreed not to post any photos that may leak from the set. Don’t worry you’ll be rewarded for your patience as soon as official pics are provided to us. That leak was just an unfortunate mistake. But back to the week here at RPAU. Vertigo celebrated a birthday and since Rob is always so good to us on our birthdays, we were able to celebrate in style thanks to Berlinale.  And thanks to Berlinale I won’t natter on too much this week because even I have some catching up to do. But don’t forget to check out our review roundups for both Life and Queen of the Desert. Let’s just ignore the sourpusses and their negativity shall we. Overall Rob’s getting positive reviews. The worm seems to have turned.  So without further adieu below is a list of loads of Rob. I’ve bundled them up into categories for you this week to make it easier. We’re always thinking of you (when we’re not thinking about Rob that is). Enjoy!

It certainly has been a super-exciting week! ‘Life’ is a reality (I know it was before, but it still felt like a dream) – now that I’ve seen a tiny bit of footage, it seems that much closer. And QOTD! I’m loving the descriptions of Rob’s TE Lawrence character – even the negative ones. And new projects with both Guy and Mia…! Always knew 2015 was going to be exciting, but man, it’s already surpassed expectations. Huge thanks to all the girls at RPAU for your tireless efforts bringing us news from Berlin – it really is very much appreciated.

Once more I applaud RPAU for being respectful to Rob’s productions and all the artistic that work on them by not posting leaked images. It is exactly this integrity that has given RPAU real opportunities over the last 12 months that are not offered any other fan sites. Bravo.
