Smart people at Washington Post. They’ve included The Rover at #1 in their ‘Summer movie preview: 10 anticipated indies’:

1. “The Rover” (June 13) — David Michod’s follow-up to his Aussie crime drama “Animal Kingdom” qualifies as a must-see because of the rare quality of his feature film debut. This one, which will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, stars Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson and is set in a near-future Australia where the world economy has collapsed and bandits roam the Outback.

How I wish we had a time machine right about now! Am SO excited for the film.  June 12 cannot come quick enough 😀

I’m here, watching everything, reading everything. Smiling, laughing, drooling, & loving every post. Real Life is bugging me (nothing major, just no time!), so accept this as a massive THANK YOU from me, for all the posts over the last few days.

@Maria & Carmel, read you guys haven’t been well. Hope you’re both doing much better now. There’s way-too-much Rob to enjoy at the moment to let illness interfere! *going off to click on The Rover trailer …… just one-more-time……*

Roll up to the Rob bandwagon. Late comers welcome

Thanks Sue and Sare *cough cough*. It’s times like this that you can be glad we are on-line friends so I can’t infect you

Michelle, thank you for passing on all this new info about The Rover. @Maria, I’m sitting here feeling guilty that you’re sick but still managing to keep us fed with Rob treats. Doesn’t seem fair, somehow. We won’t blame you for taking some time off if you need it – I somehow think you’re going to need all your strength for when Cannes comes around! So, look after yourself, OK? @Carmel, that goes for you, too. Feeling sick is the pits. Hope you both recover quickly.
