We have a couple of updates today.  The first one thanks to @NickRaslan

 

And then this update from @cassianelwes

Now we wait for a confirmation either way hopefully very soon. Keeping everything tightly crossed! I really would LOVE to see Rob as T.E Lawrence.

And we also have 2 more ‘rumoured’ cast members added to IMDb Pro, Jay Abdo & Jihad Abdu:

    I see Peter O’Toole sadly passed away today. News on T.E Lawrance seems very apt at the moment

    Oh! I hadn’t heard about Peter O’Toole. So sad! Such an awesome actor (and gorgeous in his hey-day). It would be a fitting tribute to his original Lawrence if someone as wonderful as Rob could play the role in the new version. Please don’t tease us with saying he’s pulled out! So want this to happen!
