These were some good times and I can still remember standing in front of the TV doing random hand movements while screaming at everyone in the room. It felt like the most important event of the decade and in reminiscing now, Rob was so young and it’s been total bliss watching those hopes and dreams from back then come to fruition.

Hahahaha Vertigo I can just see you doing that.
I remember watching it when I was at work in our staff meeting room with someone who had actually met Rob.
I also remember watching the repeat on Channel 9 that night and they had CUT OUT ROB’S presentation.
The other thing that sticks in my mind was that there was absolutely ZERO chemistry between Rob and Sapfried.

Thank god for all those photos from the Oscars! I have been religiously watching the Academy Awards every year for what seems like EONS and this was the only year I missed it. Can you believe it? I mean, I never missed one since I was old enough to know what they were, and I MISSED THE ONE WITH ROB PRESENTING! To this day, all I’ve ever seen of this phenomenon is some crappy footage taken on someone’s phone or something. I can only hope one day soon he will be back, either presenting or accepting! PS. hate to be a bitch, but does anyone have chemistry with that insipid woman?
