BD Pt 2 has slipped to no. 3 this week at the Aussie box office and according to IF.com:

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 continues to perform well despite having been out for a month. Over the weekend the final instalment to the popular saga brought in $1 128 494 and was played across 368 screens. Its Australian box office taking to date is $26 161 940.”

That’s a lot of people watching it over and over again.  Glad they enjoy it.

Thanks for the update Maria. I know it’s doing very well worldwide as well and I’m glad for Rob. The saga has gone out with a bang which must be very gratifying after all the sh**t he had to put up with especially during the exhausting junket and promo.

They are pretty impressive figures when you think of the lack of promotion it has had in Oz. I never saw a poster up or anything.

@Carmel – it didn’t need advertising – it already had a fanbase it could rely on and this is proof of that
