I better not hear “loads of people walking out of this movie and we know why”.
Just so you know – about 40 people in the screening I was at last night. No walkouts, but a few giggling girls which was kind of annoying, but oh well.
Was told though by person cleaning up that they’ve had loads of walkouts and requests for refunds.

Ugh, I will scream if we hear that. I do not understand why anyone would want to walk out, it just baffles me. And people asking for refunds *shakes head* Just do NOT understand.
40 people was brilliant Maria. No walk outs in any of my sessions, the audience was only small, but not one of them left any of the times I went.

Walkouts, what….
Strange thing to ask for your money back, only time I ever did that was due to the theatre having sound issues.
Artistic choices and different tastes are hardly a reason for a refund.
Can’t wait to see it tomorrow, and my sister says she’s up for it, though she’s been warned it’s very weird.

Walk outs?? People should be grateful they can see the movie!!!!!! Not one cinema near me is showing it or has it as coming soon. I COULD CRY!!!!!!!!!!

REFUNDS???? What the hell???? I can’t believe people would do that…it may not be everybody’s cup of tea but the movie is beautifully filmed with great performances. But 40 people is really really good @maria.
Oh dear Vicky!!! Where are you? It is a real shame…yeah I would want to cry too.

The back of beyond apparently Ephie!!! Nothing within 2 hours drive of me, i’ve checked. It’s making missing out in Sydney look even worse now :(!! Nevermind, the DVD will be here before I know it (did that sound convincing LOL)!!

That is a shame Vicky…but I totally understand – driving 2 hours away to see a movie is not on. To answer your question – ummm…it sounds convincing enough LOL

OH NO VICKY!!! That’s so sad. It’s such a shame more cinemas aren’t showing it. Makes me feel very lucky to have a choice of 4 cinemas here (Brisbane) to choose from …….

@Ephie I don’t get “refunds” either. I mean – you choose which movies you see if it’s a dud well maybe you should do some research into the movie you are seeing. How is it the cinema’s fault you chose something you wouldn’t see. I might go into Magic Mike and then go and ask for a refund after 20 minutes, because I sure as hell know that I wouldn’t waste a minute on that vapid film.
@Vicky I don’t know what to say … you need to come back to Sydney … STAT!
