One Year Ago Today…

6 May 2011, just the mention or thought of that glorious date will forever make me break out into the biggest grin possible. Takes me back to the beautiful night in Sydney when Rob was right in front of us at the premiere of Water For Elephants. Precious memories I will cherish forever & ever. Can you believe it has been a whole year? Where has that gone to. This morning we are going to go back to Friday 6 May 2011 & reminisce – enjoy everyone 😀

WOW! I adore that picture of Rob arriving, movie star with a capital M. Stunning. Love all the lip biting going on too. And his eyebrows in that centre one. OMG. What a great night.

I love that you’re celebrating this anniversary. And hey, looks like he’ll be back in Australia soon. *makes plans to visit cousins in Australia* 😉

No words to do him justice, just none!!!!! This night was one of the best nights of my life. I still cannot believe how much more beautiful this man is in the flesh, nothing prepared me for that!!!! I met awesome people who have become wonderful friends and all because of this man!!!! Rob, I adore you and I cannot wait to have you back on our shores!!!!!

Thanks for the montage Michelle, absolutely breathtaking!!!!

Am nodding to every word you have said Vicky. I still to this day cannot believe how lucky I was to be in the presence of Rob. Still pinch myself. He is just breathtaking, absolutely breathtaking. One of the best night’s of my entire life 😀

*waves to Deb* How great is that pic of Rob arriving. That moment has re-played in my head so so many times since that night *sigh* 😀 The whole world stood still but completely LIT up at the same time. Most amazing moment EVER!

Every time I remember seeing Rob’s leg step out of the car … seriously it’s embedded into my memory. The anticipation was so worth it .. agree Vicky with everything you said. I was not prepared to see him even more gorgeous in real life – didn’t think it was possible, but it is.

@Deb you SO have to make it down to Oz to *coughvisityourcousinscough*. It will be worth it – we really are an amazing country even without the incentive of Rob 😀

Goes off to dream some more. And even in celebration the weather knew to make sure the sun shone today just like it did last year

Agree with everyone, from the second Rob stepped out of that car, it was magical. I remember it like it was yesterday ~ my heart started racing, I had to remind myself to breathe and time stood still. And as Vicky said, to realise how much more beautiful he is in the flesh ……just WOW.

And I still remember that the very first time I ever commented on this blog (or any other, for that matter!), was to thank Maria for telling us about this amazing event and how to get tickets ….. I shall be forever grateful…..(my husband, not-so-much!!! *giggles*)

Oh God, just saw the lip-bite Pic of the Day …….!!!!!

Oh the memories! Still can’t believe I was there, it was the most amazing of days! The memory of that pout for the cameras just a few metres away from me is burnt on my memory forever. Making it even more special was getting to share it with the M&M’s and Vertigo. Magic! *popsthechampagne*

Oh what a joyous night seeing Rib in the flesh. I still have the video of him on my iPhone stepping out of the car and walking by! It was an ethereal experience for me, as it was for you all who were there. Luckily hubs was taking the video for me. I could hardly concentrate in the movie I was so starry eyed! Takes my mind off a sadder anniversary of 18 months since I llost my sister.
I hope to have more Rob encounters in my lifetime. Surely The Rover must have an Aussie premiere. Happy anniversary to all at RP AU!

Michelle, I remember being so upset that I couldn’t get to Sydney to see him and I swore there and then that if he ever graced us with his presence in Australia I would do anything to see him. Thanks, these pics are great. Too beautiful for words.

Hi all I am new to posting here but I remember that night like it was yesterday, so much excitement and anticipation in the air before he arrived. Was wonderful to see him in person. Met some lovely people and had a great night. Thanks for the pics and the trip down memory lane.

Oh what a night! You said it all Vicky. Rob seemed to radiate his own magnificent light source. He, and that whole day far surpassed my very high expectations. I could gush forever about the joy those memories have provided me. It is still hard to take it all in. I do remember all the blood rushing to my head when I realised I was just feet away Mr Robert Pattinson. I stayed in his orbit as long as I possibly could.
Also, to see him being so generous with his time and how he almost works against the machine that surrounds him to give back as much as possible to his fans made me very proud of Rob.
The only thing that could possibly add to such a remarkable day was meeting so many wonderful women and sharing the whole experience together. I think of you all often, with love and treasure the friendships formed that day.
@Michelle – I have spent a fair amount of my time looking at Rob in Sydney over this past year and still your montage caught my breath. The lip bite is sooo devastating on this man. And Rob looked s beyond handsome in his suit. Thank you.
See, I said I could gush forever

May 6th 2011. I don’t know whether I’m going to burst into tears of happiness or have the biggest grin on my face when I think of that day. That first photo has always been a favourite of mine. I dont know why but it just shouts old glamour hollywood.
I loved how Rob being here brought all of us, especially the aussies, closer. I met some wonderful people and dear friends thanks to Rob and the premiere. Still can not believe I saw him in the flesh! I swear when I saw him step out of that car my heart fluttered! lol Will always have a special place with me and so will WFE 🙂

Yes, it was surreal to be there on the red carpet where Rob had just walked before us…I am quite short so did not have a good view of him getting out of the car because of the people in front of me – unfortunately – so I did not really see him in the flesh until he was inside the theatre but all the same it was an awesome experience and I am forever grateful that I was able to share it with all you great ladies.
Yep – Rob does own May – for sure!!!
Thanks for the trip down memory lane Michelle, all the pictures are perfect.

Pleasure everyone. I LOVE that we can re-live this most amazing, special & precious experience together. I have been thinking all day today, this time last year we were doing this & this time last year we were doing that & OMG we were seeing Rob this time a year ago 😀 Every time I think about it, I am transported back & feel that indescribable feeling all over again. Heaven, just pure heaven! Rob is even more gorgeous in real life, it seems impossible but it’s true. He just radiates beauty – lights up the entire world.

So glad you found us Elane 😀

Happy Anniversary ladies! Wow, one year already since experiencing one of the highlights of my life. As exciting as it was to be in Sydney to see Rob in the flesh (like Ephie, missed him getting out of the car) gracing the red carpet and then in the theatre, meeting and spending a magnificent day with you ladies was just as brilliant. Just reminded hubby that it’s already been a year and he was gobsmacked. (He says ‘Hi’ by the way). We both can’t wait for the next time to see Rob and you all as well (I have high hopes it will happen!) 🙂

Happy Anniversary, ladies! What a magical evening it must have been to see Rob on the red carpet. I’ve heard so many times that he’s even more gorgeous in person. *sigh* And it certainly looks like he will be making a return visit to film ‘The Rover’. How I wish I could plan a visit to Oz while he’s there and meet all of you. Ah well, it’s nice to dream. Thanks for sharing with us. Love the montage, Michelle. 🙂

i was at the premiere, waiting right to his left when he stepped out of the car, had my phone set to video him, but only ended up getting the toes of MY shoes in the film… *dont ask me!*. he was sooo beautiful as she stepped out, the young girl beside me was sobbing as she was so overwhelmed. Had the best weekend, met heaps of Robsessed fans of all ages.
