Cosmopolis Australian Release Date *UPDATED*

Roberta sent me a link to TheReelBits which is showing Cosmopolis as being released here in Australia on 30 August 2012.  I don’t know if this is true and so have put in a call to the distributors.  I mean Hoyts just did a similar thing putting Bel Ami on their website as being released on 1 March 2012 and I guess the reason I’ve done this post is so I don’t have to answer 30-50 individual queries about this.  And the poster for some reason is ringing alarm bells to me that it’s similar to fanart I saw once.  Anway – keep an eye out on this post because I will hopefully be able to tell you yay or nay soon.

UPDATE:  Icon have confirmed to RPAU this morning that 30 August 2012 is confirmed Aussie release date , but it’s possible it might change.  There’s no further information at this stage, but they will keep me posted.  So keep an eye out for RPAU to let you know of any changes.

    LOL @shell and Palace Cinemas did it last October with Bel Ami too – saying 1 March. They just hedge their bets to get people excited and focussed on their sites. It’s all about hits baby.

    Will let everyone know as soon as I hear anything.

    Mmmmmm lets wait and see. Seems a lot earlier than I would have thought but would be more than happy if this is true. Would make me an awesome birthday present. Thanks for checking this out Maria will be keen to hear what happens. Have to agree re the poster.

    Squeeeeeeeeeeee I still cannot stop smiling. This day is just BRILLIANT. Concentrating at work today is SO hard. How I am going to pay attention during the meeting I have in 45 mins I’ll never know lol.
