Rob No. 3 on Forbes “Cheap as Chips” Actors List
You know I really loathe posting anything about how much money Rob makes because it’s just tacky, but Roberta sent me the link for this Forbes article and I’ve been sitting on it for about an hour now trying to decide whether I should post it. I decided to go with yes since I need to show you the absurdity that goes into Forbes’ supposed logic …
So here’s Forbes’ formula:
“To compile our list we used information gathered for the Celebrity 100 to look at the last three non animation movies each actor starred in over that last three years. We added each actor’s upfront and backend pay on all three movies to come up with a total compensation number. We then added up the operating income of the three movies to come up with a total operating income number and then divided total operating income by total compensation. Each return on investment number represents how much the studio is paid for every dollar invested in the star.”
 Huh? Lordy whenever I read crap like this I feel like I lose about 10 IQ points.
So, Rob makes it to no. 3 because they can only use one of the “cashcow” Twilight films in their equation since he actually starred in two other successful films in between New Moon and Breaking Dawn being released. So really it’s like he’s being punished for actually having a career. Boo hiss you Rob for not selling out and only making franchise films that will guarantee you making this list *giggles*. Oh wait Daniel Radcliffe is on the list below Rob and he makes franchise movies – clearly you get paid too much Daniel and you’re not profitable enough for your studios – otherwise how do you explain Forbes magic calculator.
Forbes – I have a suggestion for you – next time why don’t you use my formula – “To compile my list I used information gathered from reliable sources and used the amount of women who fainted, gasped, drooled, “ovaries exploded” – sorry I hate that phrase but for the benefit of my formula it needs to be included – each and every time Rob appeared in a film with his shirt off …”
Yeah see how easy it is to cook the books.

Uhm, ok so I admit that Maths was never my strong point at school but how in the name of Rob do they come up with these ideas?? There is seriously no logic to only allowing Rob one Twilight movie if KS above him on the list gets two Twilight movies. What is that?? And saying they have to include two of his other movies instead – why didn’t they do that for KS?? Not like she’s just had Twi movies….
And why am I wasting time trying to figure Forbes out?? Seriously, seriously WEIRD way to do things – just saying. Makes more sense to take a time period rather than just randomly pick movies. IMO.

How old are the people writing this shit – I mean seriously *shakes head* No words to describe how insane this ‘list’ is – none. I just cannot believe people can be so DUMB.

@Sue there’s nothing wrong with your IQ and can I just add – that Forbes didn’t even bother to follow their own ridiculous formula. Sorry but there are people on that list who have had films in the last 3 years that weren’t taken into account – maybe I should send them screencaps from IMBdPro LOL.
