MTV First Videos
MTV for some reason have decided that they won’t allow us here in Australia to see the vids grrrr but good thing is, we have an alternative. The vids are a little crackly, but at least we can see Rob. Oh & I have a question, how come there is no Rob in the ‘exclusive’ clip *frowns* Haven’t watched it all yet but Rob is of course his brilliant self – as always. I just love his giggle haha & of course his answers. Â The questions may be the same old, but Rob’s answers – always gold!

Yeah MTV gets on twitter tooting their horn and then only allows the US to view. See I was right when I called them out about MTwilightV.
I haven’t watched it but can someone confirm to me that Josh actually asks Rob about Cosmo or Bel-Ami? Because I bet he doesn’t. And don’t tell me about Buckley and American Idiot – we already KNEW Rob had nothing to do with those.

Darnit Josh didn’t ask him about Bel Ami and Cosmopolis. Merely queried whether Rob would be interested in heading up an action film. Rob responds in typical not releasing too much mode that he doesn’t know and also doesn’t know why the Jeff Buckley and American Idiot references have surfaced. Although for one would love to see him in an edgy musicale inspired piece. I’m feeling a bit jaded that Taylor might be hooking up with Gus Van Sant for an upcoming project was kinda hoping that maybe Rob and Gus would collaborate. I’m sure there are several juicy projects in the pipeline for Rob. Would be great to see him work with an Australian director maybe Peter Weir or Andrew Dominik (Chopper, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford). Itching to know the next project.

Nothing much new from this interview but hearing Rob and seeing so much that profile could never disappoint.

Thanks Michelle – see I told you Josh lost my respect during WFE promo by asking Rob about BD. It just really annoys the crap out of me how much promo they put into this saga. I too read that about TayTay and Gus Van Sant – I thought maybe it was an April Fool’s joke come early.
Ooh if we are talking Aussie directors – Phil Noyce would be great too or even Steve Andrews (Assist Director – worked on all Anthony Minghella films). He also did the Nic Cage film in Melbourne in 2008 . Just putting it out there 🙂
