Cosmopolis “Could” Be Going to Cannes 2012?
I know Rob I know – I’m throwing my hands up in the air too, because we’ve heard it all before, but Nick Vivarelli of Variety spoke with David Cronenberg at the Venice Film Festival where David happened to mention this:
“Cronenberg is in post on Don DeLillo adaptation “Cosmopolis,” which, he said, could go to Cannes …”
I think the operative word here is “could” and not “is”. I always get a little excited when I hear Rob could be in Cannes, but then it also means we won’t be seeing Cosmopolis before May 2012. I swear to God if Cosmopolis is drawn out much like Bel Ami someone is going to suffer and suffer good.  I remember Rob signed on for Bel Ami when he was in Cannes 2009 and here we are close to 2012 and still no word … why are people so cruel …

Oh how I wish this would be true. The thought of Rob in Cannes again is just too exciting for words!! Fingers & toes crossed this is true unlike so many of the other ‘coulds’ we have heard *glares*

Re The Be Ami Mystery- It seems this film is playing hard to get even if Georges does not.
