Examiner.Com: What Book Would You Like to Bring to the Screen
Examiner.com interviewed Rob on the red carpet and asked which book he would love to see on the big screen. Â OMG Rob seriously if you did a remake of The Fountainhead I would just die. Â This is one of my favourite books and films (I seem to say that all the time) but if you haven’t read Ayn Rand’s “The Fountainhead” you should. Â The movie version had Gary Cooper playing Howard Roark. Â Seriously Hollywood – instead of remaking films from 10 to 20 years ago (except for Total Recall because Pfftarrell leaving gave us Rob in Cosmopolis) – why not remake this with Rob in it. Â I mean you just did another one of my fave films Mildred Pierce why not this. Â Okay I’ll shut up now.

Thanks for recommending this @maria! I am always looking for something new to read so I will def get the book. And if Rob wants to be involoved in it I’m definitely interested. I haven’t heard of the movie either and I am a big fan of old Hollywood and of Gary Cooper so now I want to see the movie too.

Looked a little bit further into this and realised that I’ve seen the film but a very long time ago. I remember liking it very much but can’t remember details. Must watch it again.

Gary Cooper was my Mum’s favourite actor so we never missed his movies and I grew up loving him as well. The Fountainhead was an amazing movie and I would love to see Rob play Howard Roark!!! I’ve not read the book, but i’ll soon remedy that.
