I know Rob, I know, I’m not impressed either.   Seriously I know Rob’s super busy at the moment and we’ve been waiting for some confirmation that he’ll be at this year’s Oscars, but so far all we’ve managed to get is a tease from the producer Bruce Cohen whilst being interviewed by Oscar.com hosts Jake Whetter and Shira Lazar (you can watch video here – mention is about 2.02 ) but for those who just want to know:

“Hey folks, if you are a Twilight fan . . . For all of you Twi-Hards out there, we have a little surprise for you in our show on Sunday night . . . if you like those three films, I have three words for you: watch the Oscars.”

So my first reaction to his use of “three words” was please please let Rob be doing a skit with Tom Cruise, but the logical part of my brain is saying – Twihards – not Rob fans – so maybe a videolink.  Seriously if I have to sit through the Oscars just to watch some lame arse parody by Franco and Hathaway I am going to cut a bitch.  Yeah I said it – I figure sitting  through the People Choice Awards was enough punishment for one year.

    Grrrrrrr I agree Maria. Rob there in person or zero interest in the Oscars for us. I am cringing at the thought of a Twilight parody *rolls eyes* Please stop with the teases people & give us a yes or a no. They tease us on purpose – I’m sure of it.

    I’m with all of you girls. It does sound too good to be true. But I’ll still keep my fingers crossed. And @Maria you are so right the PCA’s was pure torture. I was cringing at Queen Latifah’s lameness, even felt a bit embarassed for her.

    Don’t think all three will be unless it’s video link @Roberta – I’ve definitely read that Kristen is not attending due to work commitments.

    Oh but wait – that’s what they said about Rob and the PCAs – I withdraw the above statement LOL. Who the freakin hell knows and I want to know why they think they can tease the twilight fans with that dribble. They are either there or not. I cannot wait for Rob to distance himself from this franchise.

    Well if it’s not Rob and I sit through that “show” for how ever many hours I will be mighty pissed!!!!

    I also think they are teasing on purpose. It sounds like I am the only one here who does not mind watching the oscars…I always have. So I will be watching hoping and keeping all fingers crossed that Rob is attending…
    But please please please – NO MORE TWILIGHT PARODIES – it’s been done to death and it’s old news now people!!! And not entertaining at all!

    @ephie I used to love watching the Oscars but then after awhile it just became a show where they patted themselves on the back and forgot about entertaining. And I still haven’t forgiven Channel Nine for cutting out Rob’s presentation when they replayed the show later that night *shakesfist* – Idiots (said in a French accent)

    Well Maria, as much AS I love Robert as Edward, I’m kindo of tired of the franchise as well… cannot wait to see Robert free to do whatever he likes! But you’re right it would be such an infamy to tease all the fans just for a video or something stupid…. still, I know they can, sure they do!
