Okay I’m a Doubting Thomas because over the last few days I’ve seen stories saying this and thought they just got it wrong.  I guess Mackenzie is the right person to know whether Rob will be singing to her or not …  SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Summit sure know that their cash cow is coming to an end and are milking it for all it’s worth.  But Bill I thought you said BD WASN’T going to be a musical?

Thanks to lion_lamb for the tip.

Touche’ Maria, someone must of changed Bill’s mind. They had to add something to get us excited enough to wait until 2012 for the moment of truth.

Hahaha @Vertigo remember when I said Rob would be singing a song similar to the Time Warp – thanks for reminding me too by the way. Seriously I’m kind of embarrassed that the are pulling out all stops to make sure people see the last film. Poor Rob … not long now Rob not long.

    OMG Rob singing *_______________*

They sure are pulling out all stops that’s for sure Maria. They know having Rob sing will draw people to see it. They’re cunning, very very cunning.

    Maria

    • February 12, 2011 at 9:28 am

Yeah @Michelle – cunning is a word that comes to mind – not to mention “greed” but hey as long as Rob’s on the final commentary saying bye bye Edward then they will get my money for the last time.

No matter why they are doing it – Rob will be singing!!!! They can have my pre-order now.

Yep all those words & a few more for sure Maria. Rob saying bye to Edward – YES that will be a day of HUGE celebration. Bring it on!!!! They’ll get my money this last time too – all for Rob. I hope they appreciate (am sure they realise but appreciate – hmm well I hope. They damn well better!!!) that without Rob these movies would be zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I’m not being mean – it’s just plain fact.

    @maria
oh man, i can’t even get excited about it. i doubt he is keen on doing the singing. i wished i knew how rob feels about it.
i hate that the success of the last part almost completely rests on his shoulders by now. but yes, they finally realized he is the key to success, and now greedy as they are…i wasn’t going to bother with the second part. and now what?!

Oh that’s a nice surprise I wasn’t expecting, nice move Summit. So all we need now is some dancing dogs and we have ourselves that musical!

Rob signing WOO HOO….that’s all I care about

    Maria

    • February 12, 2011 at 3:36 pm

Damn @lids I just realised I’m going to have to buy the soundtrack. As far as I’m concerned the only time they got the soundtrack right was with Twilight *nods* and that’s the only one I’ve ever bought.

As much as a bounced in my seat reading this, theres a part of my brain that keeps playing Ariel from the little mermaid singing to her daughter (Little mermaid 2, anyone?)

..I really hope its not some god-awful Disney-esque song. Im hoping its going to be a bit of humming and la-la-ing, similar to what he breaks into during Eclipse commentary?

    Maria

    • February 12, 2011 at 4:53 pm

LOL @caro now all I can hear is “I don’t see nothing wrong” as he’s staring at a half human/half vampire baby. Yeah that could work … I agree I hope it’s not some cheesy song … wait is Rosenberg involved – we have no hope, although usually she reserves all the cheesy stuff for Emmett …

I wonder if they had to pay Rob a bonus to do it, he usually seems a bit reserved to even talk about the fact that he sings, let alone feature it in the films

@Maria, I think Rob will do us proud, I don’t think he’ll be signing any cheesy songs. Oh, and I have to share good news with you, I got an iPad 😀 ….more Rob for me WOOO HOOO

Congrats @Lids on you IPad. Maria you’re too funny, but I can totally visualize him singing “I don’t see nothing wrong” at a sparkling Renessme. Ha ha ha.
